So far after one month, it's been very good. It fits more than I initially anticipated. Clothes come out of the washer not overly wet, and the dryer does not overheat the clothes. The knobs appear a little fragile and are difficult to turn, so be delicate with those. Otherwise, a solid buy.

Purchased this because I couldn’t fit a regular size washer and dryer into my laundry room which is quite big. Expected not to be able to wash or dry big loads. Boy was I wrong was able to fit my king size blanket and 6 pillow cases in the washer and dry them both on regular cycles..... amazing purchase!!!!

Our laundry room is very small, so we need to use a small combo unit ( apartment size) unit, A lot of the combo units the reviews were pretty bad, Our old unit only lasted a few years, this unit came with great reviews and hasn't disappointed, can already tell the unit is better quality, its way quieter than the old unit, Its got more options and all together seems to function way better. We were able to purchase the extra 5 year contract for service. Time will tell but super happy with this unit so far

IVE NEVER SEEN A WASHER THIS BAD. MY MAYTAG WENT OUT AFTER 30 YEARS AND NOW I WANT IT BACK. THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST STACKABLE ON THE MARKET..I WOULDNT EVEN GIVE THIS TO SOMEONE. MY LAUNDRY DETERGENT STICKS AND STAYS ON CLOTHES..NO MATTER THE LOAD THE WASHER ONLY FILLS UP TO A CERTAIN SPOT. I CONTINUALLY HAVE TO PUT THE WASHER ON A DRAIN/SPIN CYCLE AFTER EVERY LOAD. DOESNT MATTER HOW MUCH BLEACH I USE MY WHITES LOOK THE SAME COMING OUT AS GOING IN. THIS WASHER DOES NOT CLEAN ANYTHING. IM WASTING ELECTRICITY BY HAVING TO REPEAT CYCLES ON A WEEK OLD WASHER. FRUSTRATING. IVE TRIED DIFF CYCLES DIFF LOAD AMOUNTS DIFF DTERGENTS READ THE MANUAL ALL OF IT AND AS A NURSE I NEED MY THINGS CLEAN. IVE BEEN GOING TO THE LAUNDRY MAT LATELY UNTIL MY APT CAN REPLACE THIS WITH AN OLD MAYTAG. I WOULD NOT PAY EVEN $100 FOR THIS SET. DRYER WORKS AMAZING THE WASHER IS BEYOND ANYTHING IVE EVER SEEN SO TERRIBLE!

I bought this laundry center because it was the only choice on the market that would fit the space I have (depth not width) and not require conversion from gas to electric. After reading every customer review on half dozen sites, I landed on this model to replace my current stack-able washer and dryer. It lacks every luxury feature on the market today but overall it’s working for me so I’ll give it 3.5 stars. It does have issues. Listing things that would have been helpful for me to know in advance. Helpful to know: - Rinse and spin cycles are noisy. - Washer is rough on clothing even using delicate cycle. USE laundry bags for your delicates like bras, lace camis etc… - Emptying dryer vent is messy! NEVER leave clean clothes around or have the washer door open when emptying the vent. Design flaw is that when you slide open the vent, lint comes falling out. - No timer bell to alert you that your laundry is done. - Wash cycle knobs don’t move so must use machine lights to see what stage your laundry is in. Dryer knob does move as it moves thru cycles. - Small washtub means doing more loads than intended. - Plastic. Be gentle! Other reviewers complained about knobs falling off. It’s plastic. - “Auto Load Sensing” doesn’t even work! It appears that other reviewers are right. Not enough water for medium or big loads so I use the power wash which fills up the basket for sheets/towels/large loads. - Magnetic door keeps washer open when loading - I find it better to use the time drying feature as it saves time. - HE laundry detergent – I’ve switched over to HE detergent. Though it’s not required, HE detergent makes fewer suds, which apparently can affect this machine’s performance. Using best buy: - changed my appt without my approval – apparently this item is special order which states it on the website but gives inaccurate delivery options (try 2-3 weeks) Never received follow up calls, etc… - Yes I bought every recommended accessory (gas dryer line, vent kit, stainless steel water hose) because I want this machine to work properly. - warranty – invested in the 5 year warranty. Machine is plastic. - delivery guys were great – fast, efficient, cleaned up and showed me how to use it, started it to see if it works, told me plastic smell would wear off.

A washer/dryer in a NYC apartment! We are living the dream! We had a small unit in our apartment we we moved it but it broke almost a month later. We saved all our quarters to invest in a new model through Best Buy. Knowing that we have the GeekSquad protection was a great piece of mind. It works great. Doesn’t take up much space and I don’t have to trek to the laundromat weekly but instead I can have clean clothes whenever I need! So great! A larger model would be nice, but you work with what you got and this is a great machine for the limited space we had.

Good wash and dryer for one condominium and easy to install and use

This was the only gas washer-dryer at Best Buy that would fit my condo laundry closet. It replaced a similar GE stack that worked reliably for 19 years. The new dryer works very well (reason for 2 stars), although the mesh lint filter doesn't remove easily, making whatever lint is trapped fly around the room. The washer, however, is not so good. The so-called "auto load sensor" doesn't work. The tub fills 1/3 with water regardless of load size, so sometimes not all clothes are submerged. (GE customer service assures me that the clothes are getting clean. I know washers use less water now, but how can clothes get clean if the water doesn't cover them?) To get around that, I have to run the Power Clean cycle with Deep Rinse for all but the smallest, lightest loads. Best Buy has been my go-to store for major appliances, but this experience has made me rethink that strategy.
