NOT A GOOD PURCHASE

First the dryer didn’t fire up so the repairman replaced the gas valve. Then during the first wash I heard bolts and nuts falling at the bottom. The GE repairman fixed that. For now it’s working but it sounds pretty sick, I suspect it won’t be long before I call him again. I normally don’t buy extended warranties but in this case I have no choice, I doubt this think is going to last 5 years.

Only complaint is there is no light in the dryer, like the older one. Seems to clean just fine. Very quiet, the spin cycle is very different from my older unit. Only makes noise when it does that.

Got a new one for the price of open box. Washer keeps on filling water when it's not being used so tried to return it. Ok fine it's a defective unit. Best Buy delivers another open item. Ridiculous. After email to all c level leadership, I get some relief on compensation but it's not enough. Best Buy didn't try enough

In the washer, the agitator is slim and leaves more room for laundry. It's quiet design is great. It gets a little noisy on the spin; however, the clothes come out damp ready for the dryer and the clothes dry quickly. A great purchase!

2016 Model washer is loud

Ours is a 2017 and it's the loudest washer. Also we get little black streaks on white sheets, etc. We only kept it because it fit in the spot we have.

Like many reviewers, I was limited in the amount of space and after careful review, bought this unit. I have already had Geek Squad out to my house, who told me that these machines are notoriously noisy. I am so sorry that I purchased it and briefly considered returning it, but didn't want to go through the hassle. I wish I had bought the more expensive Bosch compact units. Maybe I got a lemon, but the washing machine is VERY loud. Avoid!!
