I ordered my pedestal September 1st and have had 4 deliveries of defective pedestals... they keep wasting my time in increments of 3 hours each delivery that has had to be rejected.

They are tall enough to store full sized laundry soap, liquid containers and boxed. They are also large capacity and can hold alot of items. I can store (all full sized): 1 liquid detergent, 1 box detergent, 1 large vinegar bottle (Sam's Club size), 1 large bleach bottle (Sam's Club size), 1 fabric softener bottle, and a few other items inside one of my pedestals. I use the other pedestal as storage for my additional bulk purchases. The pedestal still glides open and closed with ease. The reason why I did not give it 5 stars is because the drawers does not open fully and it is hard to get to the items in the back. I have to remove the items from the front to get to the back. It is a small inconvenience, but still convenient and a space saver.

Washer was very stable before adding these. Like the storage and the height but they wobble quite a lot.

the pedestal is taller than others giving it plenty of room in the drawer and lifts the washer to a comfortable height to unload the laundry everything was great but the third party installer took three trip to install a washer and drier. install yourself if you can

I really like the Pedestal on my washer and dryer. My washer and dryer are at a level where I do not have to do a lot of bending down. The storage drawer is also a worth while investment for all laundry supplies and needs. made and excellent choice.

A Pedistal That Elevates Your Washing Experience.

This is a solid pedestal that elevates the Washing experience, literally and figuratively speaking. The pedestal also has ample space in the included drawer, providing a place for storage. These are the positives. The only negative would be that by elevating the unit, it creates sort of an echo chamber beneath the washer. This increases the sound emitted by the motor, especially if you wash on the highest spin setting. It sounds as though an F4 Phantom is spinning up to launch off of an aircraft carrier. If you are in to that sort of thing, it really gives the sense of being on the flightdeck during an actual launch. Overall we are happy with the pedestal. We don't blame the pedestal for the jet noise because it doesn't impede the function of the pedestal itself, which is to elevate the washer to a more comfortable level for switching over a load to the dryer. However, my wife didn't see fit to purchase a matching set, because she wanted to get a dryer that folds down in the front so that she can dump the clothes from the front load washer onto the door of the dryer. I don't know why this matters. But it really messes with that small part of me that cares about congruance of our washing and drying experience. As she says it, it really messes up my "fung shwa". I'm not going to tell her that isn't how you say it. But hey, the good news is that I have a loving wife that generally does most of the laundry, so I can deal with the mismatched appliances. But what really grinds my gears is that she is really good at washing and folding, which are the two things I don't mind doing. But we are both terrible at getting them put away. So each morning I go on a little scavenger hunt for which basket my underpants are in, and where my work socks are. But I digress. This pedestal stands tall amongst it's competitors. Consequently, they don't matter anyway, as most pedestals' proprietary design prevents them from fitting other brands anyway. So this was our only choice. That is, of course, unless we wanted a different color. That wouldn't mesh well with my "fung shwa". Oh, by the way, this washer has (I don't know how many pounds) of concrete in it. So, being the only one in my home with any kind of upper body strength, I was tasked with installing this pedestal alone. So I hope you had the wherewithal to keep your shipping bolts handy. I had to lay my unit down, so to avoid damaging my washer, I installed the shipping bolts before I laid it down. Doing so makes installation possible. But that brings me to my next point. If you have the option to have this done professionally, it's worth it. Just spend the extra money and have the delivery team bring the unit with the pedestal. They will either install it before they load it on their truck, or in your home. I highly recommend measuring the width of all the doors leading to your laundry room from outside your home. Check that with the specs on this washer, because you may need to remove any more narrow doors for a smoother delivery experience. Happy Washing!

This pedestal is a must have for both the GE washer and dryer - The pedestals certainly complete the outstanding look of my laundry room. By using the pedestals they bring the height of the front load machines at an easy to use height. In addition, they provide additional storage.

Weren't sure if we wanted this base for our new dryer at first. After thinking about it, decided to go for it. So glad we did, it's much easier to reach cloths out of it. Sold feel, though perhaps it would wobble or wiggle, but it's a solid base. Great storage underneath, would highly recommend it.

Reaching to the back of a front-loading washer that's too low is a literal pain in the neck, and back. This pedestal raises the washer about 18 inches which is perfect for most people to easily reach all the way into the washer and retrieve clothes. And it has a drawer for plenty of storage. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey for what it is.

The pedestal is long and deep so there is a lot of storage. I have no idea why a self-lock needs to be a part of the design. We have one under the washer that holds cleaning products and one under the dryer that holds rags, dusters, etc., light objects. The one under the washer makes a clack-clunk every time I open the drawer. There is no noise when the drawer is empty.

I've enjoyed having the drawer added to keep me from having to bend over to put the clothes in the dryer. I've had my share of back surgeries this is a big help, thank you.

This pedestal is better than advertised. I did not expect it to hold all of my extras, like dryer sheets, bleach, Odo-Ban, fabric softeners, etc. I even have a small fire extinguisher on one side. Amazing.

Extra storage! Do I need to say more!?! I love that I dont have to bend over and climb in my washer and/or dryer to get my clothes out. But I really do love all the extra space to store the everyday laundry necessities.
