The Samsung Gear VR is very easy to use and setup. The graphics are very cool. Even with prescription glasses on I could enjoy the effects.

Good fun for a short term. Technology changes and it no longer works with my ever changing phones. New versions created to fit the latest cell phones to hit the market.

too bad the battery in your phone dies so fast, i could stay on this all day, cant charge while in use, at least mine wont anyhow

Love this thing. Well worth the $100 and you'll be the hit at every party you go to. Buy it now. PS: My nickname "dissatisfied" was not based on this product. Only satisfied with this.

The VR experience is cool. The apps are expensive though and the phone overheats at times.

Too bad it's only for Samsung Galaxy Note 5 or 6 but not for other phone I can give one to my brother but I am not a electronic person but it's so cool and watching Netflix is the best

JGALO says the VR is real nice. I watch a ton of content with my new VR. Including videos of cats, full 3d cat movies, I've played games as well. My best friend Seegmilla is also a big fan of this product. He does vr gaming and VR bar hopping, he says the girls finally talk to him thanks to the VR. I can't say any more great things about Samsung and the VR. If you buy it it will be worth every penny, also the guy in the Samsung section, named Andray, knew a lot about it, can't find him anymore but he was really cool and helpful with VR.

Only down side is that if u wear glasses and have astigmatism, if ur not directly looking at the words they will be a little blurry after the focus adjust but not enough for discomfort. Very real and lifelike especially if using with Bluetooth headphones. Best way to use is to sit in an office chair that spins around and tilts back. It's like you really around really there in the vr games/movies.

Very realistic, great sound. The graphics make you feel like you are part of the action. Only negative is they feel heavy after awhile.

The headset was light but still front heavy from mounting the phone which results in some cases it slipping down your face. Its somewhat comfortable but wish it had an additional strap for the top of your head to help with maintaining its position as its only held by a single strap. The touch controls are okay and not that hard learn. Other then that its neat to get to try out the VR experience.

VR has been around for a while now in many forms, and continues to improve. Mating directly with the S7 makes it more easily viable, but the content (apps) are still the problem (IMHO). These too are improving, but there simply are not the same number of talented app writers supporting this market. I suppose if the popularity of this VR platform conmtinues to become more pervasive (more users), we may see improvement in the diversity and quality of the apps available. It is much like video games, in that as the number of systems and users increased (from just pong players), then $ was there to support writers of increasing quality and diversity of software. Best Buy offered $50 worth of free VR content and this item when I bought the S7, but they never made good on the free content. I tried to have this resolved at the store, website, and customer service (to no avail), but eventually had to write this off as a loss. There are many free apps available to see the VR in action (easily as great a wow factor as theater 3D when it first became available). I am not comparing the technologies, just a "level of cool". For example, I would not stand up when viewing a roll-a-coaster app with the VR. You will find yourself on the floor. Can't say I would "recommend" this to a friend for ~$100, but if it came free with your S7 you were buying anyway, I say "thumbs up". Even if the quality/diversity of apps never comes to fruition, it is still kinda fun.

I'm not one in to gadgets really but this one was cool for me. I got a bit dizzy on one of the rides lol but i adjusted well.

So I had a few reward cert. and rebate cards that was about to expire so I thought I`d get this and play with it since I love gadget's. WOW so much fun and they are good on the updates and game releases, I've enjoyed this more than I thought I would, if fact so much My adult kids and nieces are each getting one for Christmas. Also you can be friends with ppl in the software and play with them online FREE(always a bonus)

Good VR, graphics not bad, volume control works fine. Fits well for galaxy s7 edge

This is an awesome device I bought it ad a gift for a 19yr old but every one whom came in contact with the device was amazed by the features. I bought another for myself. Word of advice sit down when using the device you will fall lol.

East and works good...my phone battery drains fast but other then that I like it

The gear vr is simply amaxing. It takes the gaming experience to another level. I can even watch videos and movies in the virtual world. This product is definitely one of a kind.

It's hard to get your head around this technology. You can access not only games from the VR store, but frequently updated still photos of current events, scenery, etc. The display technology puts you inside the photo. My family thoroughly enjoyed some stills from the summer Olympics. You could see the main athletes in front of you, turn your head, and see every part of the Olympic stadium and spectators as your turned. Everyone who tries this on is freaked out. We have spent a little time with some games we downloaded, one of which has you zooming through a 3-d obstacle course, with your path controlled by where you are looking. It is dizzying and is best played while you have one hand on the edge of a sofa to keep you grounded. I suspect this technology is the cornerstone of all gaming in the future.

Fun for short bursts, but tends to overheat and have other issues. Good intro to VR.
