Spent 2 hours of my time trying to get answers from supposed support people who either could not speak English or just REFUSED to help me. A Chat person (Setish or something like that) asked what he could help me with then NEVER bothered to Respond!!! When I selected the Call Back option, he NEVER CALLED BACK! Then, during the 3 attempts i made via the phone, one person HUNG UP, One Person plugged me into a phone # that rang for over 10 minutes without ever being answered, and one person I could not understand enough to have a conversation with. Your response to an email i sent was a ONE LINE LINK TO A VERY CONFUSING PAGE touting how great and helpful you are and when i located and clicked on "Customer Service" - NOTHING HAPPENED!!!! You are as maddening, inept, frustrating, & horrible to deal with as AT&T, and that is a complaint many people can understand

I purchased a laptop computer, salesperson said i should buy a protection program in case the computer breaks down. Was told protection plan would cover repair of the computer after manufactures wareenty expired. Every year i got a notice from Best Buy to renew my coverage which i did. My computer broke down, i took it in to Best Buy for repair, was told that their coverage would only cover software repair, I had no coverage for actual computer repair. Somehow Best Buy changed my coverage plan without advising me that I no longer had the coverage that I assumed i was paying for. They told me that I now had the wrong plan, I think I am dealing with the wrong retailer!

How do I stop automatic renewal of services? I had the Tech Services automatically renew over the Holidays and missed the e-mail announcing the renewal, how can I stop this renewal for next year?

I have always valued the help I get from the Geek Squad. They are quick to respond and never fail to solve my issues. I like that they can take over my computer online if necessary, so I don't have to take my equipment into the store. I can follow what they are doing and learn. I've never been disappointed and feel protected.

This group of people helped keep my old laptop running smoothly.
