    Majorly Disappointed

First of all, I buy all my products from Best Buy, they always seem to have the best price or will find away to get the best price. I bought a 52" Sharp which had a deal packaged into it that the Geek Squad will come to your house, hang the TV and wire the TV to my Dish receiver. I bought an add on to have the technician run my HDMI cable behind my walls so that I could hide my receiver to have a nice clean look. The technician came out and after 5 minutes of inspecting what I wanted done, said it can't be done the way I wanted it and began to sell me that I needed to spend more money for a Geek Squad specialist to consult on other options that I could do. I was very skeptic since I already did my research on the walls and knew that it was possible for it to be done the way I wanted it. I declined the consultation (I have already spent $400 on them to come out and do it) and the technician left. A week later a buddy of mine and I went to Lowe's, bought fish wire and a 12" long 1" wood bit and an hour later I fished my HDMI cable from my basement up the wall and over 1 stud and up to the HDMI wall plate that was concealed behind the TV. I only had to cut 2 1" by 1" holes in my living room to fish the wire where I wanted it. The technician said that it couldn't be done without tearing huge holes in the wall. The only reason I wanted Geek Squad to do it in the first place was that it was packaged with the TV Purchase and reviews I read that they were capable of doing such a project. When I purchased the TV I went through with the sales associate excatly what I wanted done and he reassured me that this was no problem for the technicians since they do it all the time. I thought it would be a good idea since I didn't have to do the labor and I would have a warrenty on the work done. The technician was very professional and curteous, but I think the job was over his head. But from a consumer's point of view after spending $400 to have the work done, I was expecting someone to come out with more knowlege than what I had on installation.
