I own a Roku box, however, I purchased the Apple TV 3rd generation in order to continue Netflix, Hulu etc AND mirror (project) on the TV screen what ever my iPad or iPhone had on each individual screen. This a wonderful way to share photos and videos for a large group. Easy to install and operate.

I like the Apple TV for the AirPlay feature but if you want a good variety of tv you have to pay. The ways you pay will either be through your cable/sat provider, or streaming services like Hulu, Netflix, HBO, etc. I'm glad I didn't pay $100 when they were released. This one only cost me $39 and the refurb was as good as a new one. All together I am happy with my purchase because I stream a lot from my phone or Mac to the Apple TV.

Been performing just as brand new except for this couple of times when live channels app wouldnt run, ive had it for over a month. Not sure if new product comes with hdmi cable but refurbished didnt. One last thing, thought you could AirPlay just about any video from idevices but apparently theres a lot of stuff that wont.

I bought this solely for the AirPlay functionality. I have a SmartTV, a SmartBlueRay player, and a media server to deliver my videos to my TV. This allows my to stream things wirelessly from my MacBook, iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch...instead of using cables. This costs less than the Apple lightning to HDMI adapter too.

We wanted to try the Apple TV versus using our Wii box to get to our movie choices. I went with a Geek squad refurbished unit for the reduced price. I had checked the product reviews before making my purchase and everyone getting a refurbished unit seemed happy. My wife and I love our Apple TV and it works great.

It's an Apple TV and it works! Great price for a great item. Just don't plan on using it to surf the internet on your TV or anything. There is no web surfing app on Apple TV, you'll have to use AirPlay on your iPad or iPhone for that.

Another Apple TV, and it's great to have on the second set. Refurbished may be the 'better than new' version-- everything works well and we're happy with not only the product, but the ease of ordering online and speedy arrival.

I love every product Apple has ever made. I love how easy this is to use. The picture quality through a decent internet speed is fantastic when streaming movies. I also love mirroring my phone to my TV through the Apple TV.

I bought this so my granddaughter can watch something in the guest room. Works great, however we can't use our Internet when she's watching the Apple TV. Probably a bandwidth issue. Had not seen anything about this in reviews.

Bought this as a gift for my parents, couldn't pass up the $50 price. I have 2 of my own and can't wait for the new one to come out in October.

This is a really neat device. I can put my iPhone image or video directly on my TV. It has lots of apps for sports and movies, but I am disappointed the device does not have my favorite app: AcornTV. However, I can get that app on my iPhone and watch it through the Apple TV. Great! I may get a second Apple TV for my other TV.

The Apple TV is easy,simple and fast to use than the others i have owned. The selection of channels are wide and a easy to sign in too. I like this so much I am planing on bu one for each TV in the house.

Bought this on Cyber Monday as a Geek Squad refurb item. I must say, what I recieved looked like it was brand new. Love the fact I can stream any media from any of my Apple products to my Apple TV. Great form factor and the ease of set up was a breeze!

I bought a refurbished Apple TV for my daughter. This is not the newest and greatest one, but she needed one and this is perfect for her and a great price! Plus I added a 2-year warranty, so if anything goes wrong it's guaranteed for 2 years!

Apple TV can get most of the shows we want instantly. About the only thing they're missing is live sporting events (besides ESPN). Everything else about it is great. Movies. Music. TV.

Works perfectly out of the box, with almost no setup. It is pricy for what it does (compare it to Chromecast). I wish it worked with non-Apple devices, but that's not the way Apple rolls.

love anything apple! this is such a fun device for streaming. you can also mirror your iphone or ipad to your tv to access your movies and apps on those devices and play on big screen

We have two at home and with both my daughters going back to college, we thought it'd be great to have them have access to Apple TV at school! And at this price - who could resist!!
