For what it is, entry level virtual reality using your Galaxy smartphone, it's a fun inexpensive experience. VR is still in its infancy, but you can partake in the fun with this headset. Several decent apps and games are available to offer an immersive experience, just don't expect high visual fidelity.

Im a female gamer. I bought the gear vr for myself and I love it. It allows me to play games without the use of a controller and watch shows like hulu and netflix without disturbances. Its on your face so i can watch tv while the kids run around and not be in my way.

I was excited to try out the samsung gear VR and I really wanted to like the product. Video quality was not what was expected and not very many apps without paying for them. I was dissapointed and returned the product.

Initially I thought it would be a bit gimmicky, but soon found it to be an incredible experience. Parties and gathering are made more fun when you break out the Samsung VR headset. From 5 year olds to 70 years old, it is a high quality experience

While the new VR craze is something worth exploring, I found myself feeling slightly underwhelmed with the exposure thus far. That's not to say that VR is completely worthless, but it may have a ways to go before being fully "immersive".

I've been wanting a Gear VR ever since I got my Galaxy S7 Edge. The Gear VR works great with the phone and I'm very pleased with the quality of the headset in general.

I've used the VR Gear before and fell in love with it. I was browsing best buy website and found it refurbished. I was going to purchase it brand new but geek squad had a pair for almost half the price and said it was in good condition. I didn't mind if it had scratches as long as it worked. When I connected the phone to the device I played with the focusing and it was still blurry. I made sure the phone and gear was compatible and it was. I guess that's why it was refurbished. Well back in the box and in the closet. $60 wasted

Caused my Galaxy 6 Edge to overheat and would shut down after 20 minutes. Would not be long enough to watch a movie.

It was very nice. Everything looked so real like I was right there. I gave it to my son.

I bought this Samsung gear vr for my son for his birthday and he absolutely loves it. He likes to play games on it. Great product

I am very pleased with the Samsung VR viewer as it works as advertised. Would recommend for the casual VR fan.

The 3D device strains the eye after sometime. It sure is fancy and very interesting, but not a device to be used regularly.

Got a good deal on this to try it out. Works for the purpose and I see one lens being blurry, by my kids don't notice it.
