This outlet is very poorly made. We've actually been meaning to return it but not sure if we can because it is broken. The button broke because as soon as my technician took it out of the box on the job site and tried to apply it, it immediately broke when the smallest amount of pressure was applied to it during the install. In addition, when I ordered this through the Best Buy website, this part order was delayed multiple days due to the address not being valid, however when I went in and corrected it, the address was accurate. All I did was just retype everything and submit it and then the part arrived 2 days later, exact same address. Would not recommend this part for any of my associates or contacts, which is a shame because the price was fair and was what the client specifically wanted for the job we used this on. Ended up finding one at Home Depot and it was cheaper. Which is lucky because the customer service rep I called about this issue said if I sent this outlet in to return it that they can't refund it due to the break being the technician's error.

This smart outlet helped us cut down our electric bill. We installed it where our entertainment center is. The install was easy and it connected to our smart home with ease. We setup up a routine that shuts off the power when we are away or are sleeping. All the electronics that are constantly drawing power are now off while we’re not using them. I have other outlet plugs that are cumbersome, but do the same thing. This takes up less space in such a cramped area.

Every time we got ready to leave the house, my wife asked me to check that small kitchen appliances were unplugged. So I got one of these to try out. Life changing! App controls each socket independently or you can turn the whole outlet on and off. Connected to google assistant i can shout to turn on the toaster oven, we are in the future!

Very easy to install. Would much prefer it a faceplate was not included. I use the screwless faceplates and having a faceplate included is a waste. Which brings me to my biggest frustration : the holes to screw the faceplate into are not standard size. You need to use their screws. Totally dislike this aspect.

Easy to install, and you get two programable outlets through the app.

Overall great but sometimes the status does not synch with google home correctly. I programmed a routine and the routine functions but when I look at the outlet status it sometimes displays as off when its on or vice versa.

Sad I only bought 1. Will be buying more though and putting them throughout the house. Want to get ones with usb hubs next time though

Use to have a timer on outlet to control a lamp in living room. Got rid of the ugly timer and everything is set up on line to turn the light on and off as scheduled.

Hard to get paired up. They are all finicky. Still a ways to go till these smart devices are easy to set up. Always a struggle. Once connected works great.

Bought 4 more after this one. It was easy to install and works great.

This replacement outlet works well where you need a permanent solution (versus plug-in modules). Easy to install with basic electrical skills. Easy to program through Alexa.
