Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I removed an existing switch and it has 3 wires to it, this device has 4 and I've yet to figure out how/where the 4th wire could come from. I reached out to their tech support and finally got a reply, but so far unsuccessful. Very disappointed as I have several plugs from Geeni that work wonderful. I was hoping I could enjoy this but so far I'm just frustrated. The other 2 I bought might be going back if I can't get this working. If I can, then I will be happy, but so far, not so much.

Posted .Thank you for bringing this to our attention, let me help you with this. To give you an idea, our smart switch wires contain; load wire, live wire, ground wire, and Neutral Wire. The ground wire is optional to connect to your electrical wiring. We highly suggest contacting a local electrician to install this switch properly. One works, one stopped

I bought two of these a d one is obviously defective after a few months of use. Stopped connecting to wifi and is right next to the one that works. Contacts the Geenie customer service and have to jump through hoops to get a replacement for this. Best Buy with a 30 day refund policy and not 90 days I am also not happy about since it stopped working in the 90 days. So would not buy this product again and not anything though Best Buy anymore.
