Easy setup through the Geeni app. Think I paid like $12, so can't really beat it. Haven't had any problems yet. But if everything is quiet and you're right next to it, you can hear it hum when it's on.

Great smart plug for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love genie products I recently found them about a year ago and looked into other options but I found Genie to work very well and be the best value out of all I have researched I haven't had any problems with it smart units I have I have a couple of plugs a couple outdoor plugs and a couple light bulbs and all worked well and cost substantially less than similar products from other manufacturers

Between 6-9 months into using it all of a sudden, it stopped working. After spending way too much time on the phone with the Geeni support they sent me a new one. A couple of months into having that one it stopped working the same way. Didn't bother reaching out again and just decided to give up. Wasn't worth spending an hour+ on the phone repeating the same troubleshooting steps.
