This is a tough looking bike with great built quality. It is the same as having a Porsche or a GMC when it comes to built quality and being a tough bike! In the beginning, I was afraid to go in road bumps or harsh terrains, but I tried it out and it is well built that I stopped worrying about road conditions. It rides in grassy areas well too. I'm thankful that it doesn't have the pedal assist feature because it is useless for me. I want to be able to control when to activate the motor whenever I want to. In a pedal assist bike, you can never get the pedal assist motor to give low assist. It is always the motor is giving more than needed. Note to Best Buy. You are advertising the bike with Pedal Assist but it does not come with it. The assist is not through pedaling, it is through manual controller on the handle to assist when needed. Battery life is OK, I rode with it for 15 miles and the battery is at the red level, but it is currently considered the best battery capacity in the market. Wish if there was more juice in it. My other take on the bike is the lack of USB port that is handy. The battery has a USB port but I can't imagine myself attaching a cord over there. Need a built-in USB port near the handle. And we need a numeric display to show some data such as the battery life in %
