The laptop was very easy to remove from the package and get running shortly. I had to have it plugged in at the start because the battery had a low charge. With a resolution of 1024x768 (768p), it's not the best screen out there, but it is visible and works well. When I look at it from a very specific angle, it looks like there might be a messed-up pixel, but my wife and kids can't see it. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, which is plenty in today's age of cloud storage. We homeschool the kids, so this is a fantastic budget laptop we can let them use without much concern.

This computer is the perfect answer to homeschool life. After receiving the computer and setting up (Comes with Office 365 for a year which is awesome), it worked perfectly for our child to do her online learning. This computer's performance is great, we put some small games on the computer for her to use for learning, and they worked flawlessly. I have absolutely no complaints about the computer. On another note, the computer charges super fast, and the battery lasts quite a while. The computer itself appears to be made very durable (For children).

Well my kids are crazy about the GeoBook! It is their first real laptop, and it does everything the grown up computer does! They have been playing math games and word games non-stop! Highly recommend!

Ok but not entirely as expected. I purchased 2 of these for Christmas gifts and both have a funky blue hue to the screens that isn't pleasant. They are very laggy even for simple games like Roblox or Minecraft, for which the laptops were intended. In addition, there are issues with the laptops in regard to ability to download things from the microsoft store. Several items on both computers state there are errors when trying to download and refuse to update/download properly. One of which includes the drivers for Minecraft, which is the entire purpose of the laptops in the first place.

We had to send the first one back as the screen went black the same day we received it , my gg.son was so upset because he had literally been counting the days until it came in ,I called customer service and the young lady was SOOO helpful , she took care of the return shipping and amazingly because of the holidays she put in for another one and we got it very quickly , he is loving it and as soon as he gets ungrounded he can really start enjoying it ...lol, thank you Best Buy for such quick service.Will see how the games he loves to play work and i'll be able to give a better review.

Its alright it works but barly would i buy again probably not

My 6 year old absolutely loves this laptop! He uses it for school and gaming. The only thing is its a little slow. It took a while to set up.

Great laptop for the price. Setup was easy, and Minecraft is included, and easy to install.

Very nice laptop. My mother plays games on it and was excited when she opened it at Christmas. The sale price was great also.

Bought for my son, It lasted about 2 years with minimal use before the battery expanded and bent the whole bottom of the laptop

Great laptop for gaming. The mouse pad is really tricky though. Very sensitive. When surfing web, new windows open constantly due to barely touching pad. Other than that, it's great.

Total junk stuck in a loop totally worthless collecting dust

We bought of these for Chrtstmas Presents. 1 no problems not fast but ok for the price. Other must have been a return as when I went to set it up, wanted an email, not a pin number. That was as far as would. When I took it back no more in stock. I think I was fair and if it just been on the bad one, it would have been worse.

Now all I got is somthing I don't want waste $ trying to fix

very sad. I got the lavender colored one, was so excited, but after a couple weeks, it had a problem. at first I thought it wasn't turning on at all, but my husband realized it WAS on, just VERY dim. there was no way to get the brightness up (which I had not put to that DIM level), because you couldn't see the screen to adjust it. (or to reach the settings screen to do some trick I found online). The buttons didn't work at all, using ANY combo that I saw online. The Geo people are SO hard to get in touch with over the phone, we just decided to return it through best buy.

do you need a certain router???????????????????????

This was purchased as a Christmas gift, so I can’t rate the Chromebook based on my personal experience. However, the reviews were good and the service representative with whom I spoke was extremely helpful.
