If you have never seen George Carlin, you are living life all wrong. But this, it's not too late to right your wrongs

Carlin was always a master of this type of raunchy, but deliberate and socially conscious comedy. Even thought his jokes seemed simple enough, they always hit at larger and RELEVANT issues. This ws standard throughout his long and superb career. This box sets shows a ton of his great..(and some less than great) comedies, but as we watch, we can see the change and maturation of this comedian. He never lost his heart, and his strong viewpoints on issues of importance. You can roll in the aisle and laugh, and think to. That's what made him so special. I doubt they'll be another quite like him. This set is a great way to see how this master of comedy transformed over the years. Def recommended.

I watched clips of George Carlin's stand-up specials before. I think it's especially interesting to see his entire collection of specials on DVD. Carlin is a public icon of comedy. This was definitively worth the purchase!

Great box set but could have better packaging like a lot of reviewers about the discs scratches. I would have liked to recommended this to friend but with the terrible packing of this box set i cant

One of the best collections of comedy and stand up ever. I pick this up not knowing it was released, but once I saw it, I had to have it. George carlin is one of the greatest comedians of all time. If you’re a fan of any of this work, then pick this up.

Carlin was the greatest, and this collection is fantastic for any fan. I had two of these years ago and loaned them to a friend in college and never got them back. Now I have all the specials in one wonderful package.

A bunch of HBO shows, recorded. Not necessarily in order of his career? Some repetition within a disc, but still enjoyable. Of course, the language he uses gets to be a bit much, but there is an interview that explains his rationale for it. I’ve been a fan since he started, so I like to watch the routines.

I have never seen this Collection anywhere, and can't wait to give it to my Grandson for his birthday - He will love it!

If you like comedy, get this. If you like George Carlin, get this. Laughs of all kinds are found in this complete haul of one of the best comedians of all-time.

I love George Carlin and got to see him live at the MGM in Las Vegas. This is a 10 disk set of George Carlin's comic years that will make you laugh throughout.

We've been binge watching the DVD's and just can't stop. Dying laughing through each one. Highly recommend this DVD.

I seen him in concert and fell out of my chair and nearly died laughing, but looking back a lot of his materiel is kinda meh. still a hero for me, a great contrarian and wordsmith, and Irish maniac, but being a stand up comic and coming up with a whole evening of funny stuff is incredibly hard.

This the best set of his material I have ever seen. It has everything old and new. Now if the George Carlin show tv show would be released

The man was a nutty genius. I haven't gotten through it all yet, but I don't have a doubt that they are all just as good as I remember. A tad pricey, but if your a Carlin fan, its worth it.
