I wanted to give this as a gift for Christmas. There are so many different versions of a George Foreman grill but after much online research and reading 'user-reviews' I settled on this model.
It is big enough to do a few burgers or several pieces of chicken at a time but the most saleable feature is it's removable trays that make cleaning easier. Also, I prefer the Teflon coating versus the ceramic plates as, after much reading, they seem to last longer and clean-up easier too.
I got such a good price from Best Buy on these...because of their 'price-match' that I bought TWO, and gave one as the gift.

After owning three different George Foreman grills over the years I decided to purchase this one due to its size and detachable grill plates. Although my last George Foreman grill was larger this is incredibly easy to clean - no need to plug the unit back in to wipe the grill plates down risking burning my hands!

The primary reason for the grill was to save money by grilling chicken breasts for my 12 year old son (as opposed to buying take out). He didn't like the taste or texture in the least. Others in the family think that it is okay, but it doesn't taste or look like the food that comes off of the outdoor grill during summer months. As a means of cooking something quickly (but with clean up time) in the house, it is a good product. It is well made, easy to use and clean. Nevertheless, I could just as easily live without it.

I've been looking for a new George Foreman grill for a long time. Best Buy advertised a great price for a unit that has detachable plates. I have used it a few times and it is a pleasure. Get one.

Had one of the 1st George Forman grills but hated cleaning after use! Decided to invest in a new one with the removable grill and it makes clean up so much easier!

I love the temperature control, and the timer. I use it for many things. I have an older Foreman grill and the food sticks to the upper plate, then it is hard to clean. With the new one I just snap the plates out and they wash off easily. I use a lower temperature for most things, 350. My old grill had one temperature and that was hot, I think that is why the grill started sticking after it got some age on it.

We have used this grill a couple of times already and it has cooked the food very well. Washing is a breeze because of the removable grill covers. My only complaint would be the hinge holding the top and bottom together wiggles as much as it does and it doesn't seem as sturdy compared to the rest of the grill.

My previous roommate had a different model George Foreman, which was longer but the hot plates did not detach, so cleaning got to be a pain in the next. This one also has temp and timer and the removable, cleanable hot plates are the best feature!

It seems to take a while to heat and the directions are sub par. It also doesn't seem to cook food evenly. It does clean up easy and doesn't burn like a pan or gas grill but it takes a while to cook a thicker hamburger.

The George Foreman Grill is the worst product I've tried to use. I had used an earlier version several times a week, but the finish on the plates had started to break down. I searched online and found this one thinking that it would be an improvement with a larger cook surface, a digital read out for cooking temperature and the removable grill plates like my old one.
This version takes forever to reach cooking temperature, and cooks so slowly it's not worth getting out of the cabinet. I've tried bacon in it for the third time...twice I gave up and moved the bacon to a frying pan. Yesterday i decided just to see how long it would take to get it done. I preheated heated the grill to 400 degrees which took 15 minutes, then put the bacon on the grill and set the timer for 20 minutes. At 20 minutes the bacon was still not cooked, so I went another 10 mins. and checked again. After another 10 mins, it was cooked enough to eat.
Hamburger patties are even worse and I have not tried chicken yet.
I wish I had not thrown the old one out, and that I still had the box this one came in.
I would not buy this product again, and would tell anyone interested in a George Foreman Grill to leave this one in the store!
