Our daughter picked up a cough at a month old, numerous pediatricians said it was an upper respiratory infection and then it was an air quality thing. We changed pediatricians who asked about animals and carpet in the house. We have a yellow lab and carpet throughout most of our house. We bought this and her cough was gone within a week. We also use it after cooking and it even gets rid of the burnt tortilla smell!! Definitely will get another.

This air purifier is fantastic; i can barely hear it from 50ft away, and it's effective too

After looking at a lot of purifiers, we chose two of these to cover our home. They take care of a lot of space, but are very quiet even on the highest mode. The UV sterilizer is a nice bonus. Our pet-friendly home air is cleaner now. Plus, the Best Buy price was better than anything we could find elsewhere.

My daughter suffers from asthma and a filter in her room was recommended. We researched and found this one to be the best one. We tried it and so far my daughter's breathing (especially during the night) has improved significantly. It is also good for white noise and she falls asleep with it throughout the night with no problems. For the price, It was well worth. As I always say, you pay for what you get... Worth every penny!!

Noticeable decrease in dust in our bedroom. Works great and is virtually silent on lower speeds. Higher speed is a little noisy but we like the noise to cover up street noise at night. Especially like the filter replacement interval. Great product so far.

Moved into an unused office at work, and the dust/dander in the air was so bad it made me feel like I have allergies. There was a layer of dust on a shelf that was maybe 1/3 cm thick. After things were cleaned up, the air was still bad so I went and got this and let it run overnight. The next day the air was noticeably different and the room just smelled cleaner and my nose/eyes were no longer itchy.

I accidentally broke my other Germ Gaurdian by knocking it off a table. Bought this one to replace it and it's much quieter and seems to be much more durable and sturdy (if you have kids and pets). I think this model will stand up to being knocked around. :)

Plug and play setup, whisper quiet, and has been very effective for our family.

Our bedroom is ~ 20' X 14 feet and this does a great job. We pretty much use power level 4 of 5 and it provides a subtle background noise. At power level 5 its quite loud. There is a big difference sound difference between levels 1-4 and 5. We've had the unit for one month and can't speak to longevity.

Really cleans the air. Helps with pet smells. Also seems to help cool the room. A very good purchase.

I purchased this item because my neighbor smokes in her apartment and I can smell it in my apartment. The product is a tad bit loud on the highest fan speed but it’s not too bad. It did help with the air quality but my neighbor just smokes too much and buying just one of these will not be effective. Long story short I will be relocating.

Our Master bedroom always seemed stuffy and lacked good circulations. We run this unit every night, and not only does the air not smell like...anything anymore, we wake up feeling more refreshed!

I have allergies and was looking for an air purifier. I liked this one because it also kills germs. The unit does make wind noise just like any other fan would. Some people sleep better to white noise- great for drounding out other noises.

Easy operation, quite, and looks cool. It tell the the difference in air quality almost immediately.

Super quiet and very slim design. Love it, gotta have it if your a dog lover.

This was by far the best choice I made!! I needed to find a solution for my nose being backed up every night, and morning..my nose was breathing in bad air from my wall ac I have in my room, caused minor nose bleeds & irritation. I could not sleep with my mouth closed my condition seemed to worsen, my condition got so bad I would wake up with migranes.. so I thought I would invest in my health to get a good nights rest and sleep more comfortably, I'm sure glad I did! U will not be unsatisfied with this purchase, if u suffer from a clogged up nose give this unit a try...its worth it!! I wake up feeling great now no more nose bleeds no more cruddy nose migraines r gone! I can breath thru my nose now!! I am happy I diagnosed my own issue with purchasing this unit, I only turn it on before I sleep and turn it off when I wake up works amazin!

Makes air smell better in house. Like that it gets "the germs out"!! Very quiet unit. Am extremely pleased with it. We have a smoker ( only smokes in attached garage) and you no longer can smell any smoke in the house!

Fan speed is a bit loud at maximum level but I leave it on 4of5 and it's good all day+night long. the UV light stays on while working which is a bit bright at night. It seems to clear up the residual smell of owning a pet pretty well.

After trying two other units that produced less than acceptable results, I decided to give this model a shot. So glad that I made that decision. Even with two large dogs, the unit has significantly improved the environment in my bedroom. I am now able to fall asleep without sneezing and coughing, plus my eyes don't tear up anymore while in the room. Overall a very good investment.
