It filtered dust but the unit was a little on load side

Good purifier unit but not up to advertised benefits.

This was really good in the beginning! Really did help with foul smells....kitchen smells and litter box area smells. Then it just got really loud on the highest speed, even with a new filter.

cannot tell if this is actually purifying the air. Had California fires and turned this on. Still could smell the smoke when the windows in my room were closed.

I don’t really notice much of a change with this on but I haven’t done any professional testing. I will probably just stick with plants to help with my indoor air.

I don’t like that the failteted air gets thrown back and it basically gets re-filtered. The air ports need to be re-Angled. Other than that it’s a good purifier.

The unit looks nice and modern which is a plus but it is a bit noisy if you have it in the highest setting.

I expected to have clean air and no smells but I can't tell the difference so I'm disappointed I should of learned more before I bought it.

This tower did not clean the air in my 300sqr ft living room an did not move the air enough to make a difference.

It works ok. I can't tell if it is working great, sometimes it seems it is just a kind of fan.

Does the job, love the washable filters and especially uv germ killing.

my family have 2 children and clear my house 1 time a week but have this clear air i don'd worry more

When I originally went to Purchase this HEPA Filter I was Misled about the Actual Function and Capability of what it actually does. Due to my Medical Issues I ultimately had to Purchase another HEPA Filter of Better Quality.

This unit is supposed to do a decent job of removing odors, thanks to a charcoal filter. Nope, it really doesn't. Turning the UV light on made no difference. Moreover, unless you keep the fan speed on 1 or 2 - which barely moves the air - it's noisy. And the airflow (in from the back, with output from the sides directed back) doesn't lend itself to good air circulation throughout the room. Surprised at the poor performance, given the overall ratings - maybe I got a bad unit. In any case, I returned it to Best Buy with no problem.

Let me preface this review that I have never been one to use air purifiers, i just felt they were gimmicky. But after taking the plunge and purchasing the Germ Guardian 5350 I will be buying another one in the very near future. As this units recommended usage area is a medium size bedroom i choose to use it first in my master bedroom. Wow, after the first night I can say that this works perfectly. I have never slept so well, I generally wake up with sore eyes and/or throat every night, not so after 1 night with this, the second night i choose to put it in our hallway between our master bedroom and living room and left it run all day and all night... again, when i walked in the front door the following afternoon the entire house just smelled fresh and clean, the air was not thick or stale, and I was genuinely comfortable again in my own home.

Not very happy with the air purifier. I thought it would work better than it does. I would look at another brand, not this one.

Cut the dust in half or more. Made an unbelievable difference in the air quality
