I bought this copy of win7 home edition for my daughter's computer. Having installed a version of win7 professional on my old legacy machine, I was very comfortable with the installation. Also, since I was performing a clean install, with new hard disk everything went quite smooth. As for the purchase, I ordered from Bestbuy online and received the software at my home 5 days later; 2 days prior to the estimated delivery date. Overall, win7 is a great stable product, free of the constant daily updates of xp.

No seriously you must have this if to upgrade your browser. It's easy to install, just follow the directions.

It's an easy program to work. I have always had windows xp and vista, and it is as easy to work.

It is a good and quicker operating system, and does provide some advantages over XP. However it does seem to misdirect me sometimes when try to open a program, and I was not able to re install a lot of the m programs that I was use to with 95, 98, and xp. I would recommend it to anyone that needs to upgrade. Just be ready for a learning curve.

I am soo happy that they were able to get rid of window 8.1 and give me window 7. Everyone was so helpful and courteous. I will no longer deal with staples, but intend your store to be my "go-to" store for all my electronic needs.

My desktop computer suffered problems with administrative access and other problems that indicated the need for W7 reinstall. I was able to purchase a copy and this was then installed by the Geek Squad. The machine now performs well as all problems were cured.

I purchased this for an HP Pavilion dv5000 laptop with Windows XP that is quite old. I was a little concerned that the installation wouldn't take but my fears were unfounded. The computer works like new with all the security benefits of Windows 7 and all features seem to work. Been running it for over a month and am perfectly satisfied. Maybe I got lucky, but I'll take it!

Bought this to OEM copy of Win 7 to replace Windows XP on an older PC. Booted up with the disk, installed the OS and it found all drivers and hardware with no fuss, no muss. If you are needing win 7, this is the way to go.

I had to spend $90.00 to get it installed and carry computer to stores three times because they sent a DVD instead of a CD for installation and once opened, I could not exchange. Then, after downloading Adobe Reader, I still have not retrieved my documents because Word Pad does not recognize or translate to PDF. I downloaded Microsoft Works and still have not a clue what to do and cannot afford to pay Microsoft to tell me. Windows 7 is a joy to work with, all the views on social media are large and beautiful. With the exception of the above problem, I am happy. It has been two weeks since purchase and receipt.
