They did Ghostbusters justice. I really enjoyed how they tied the old with the new in this movie

I'm a huge Ghostbusters fan and, not going to lie, wasn't the biggest fan of the female-led reboot movie. It was a decent standalone story but the main characters felt a little too over the top and the cameos of my heroes from the original series that I knew and loved did them a huge disservice. When I heard Ivan Reitman's son was helming this continuation story, I knew it was in good hands and had incredibly high expectations. And I'm pleased to say this movie met those expectations and then some. It had comedy, great visual effects, and, maybe most importantly, heart. It was definitely a fitting tribute to Harold Ramis and, sadly after it's release, Ivan too. I'm very excited to see what Jason [Reitman] has in store for the future and will gladly join him on the ride as he continues to make his father proud. Purchased in store.

Well, after many years of waiting for a good sequel to Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2 from the 1980s, we finally have Afterlife. To be honest, I did not know what to expect watching it for the first time, after seeing the trailer on youtube. I personally liked it, but was it absolutely perfect? No, nothing really is especially in movies. The effects were spot on, and I am really happy to see elements from the original 2 starring Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Ernie Hudson and finally Sigourney Weaver who has a scene in the credits with Bill Murray. Very nicely done! I would recommend this to fans of the first two films. I did not see the one with the all-female cast nor do I care to. I have seen enough online scenes and reviews to know that that one was a total waste. Find a good deal on it and enjoy the nostalgia.

My kids love the Ghostbusters just as much as their dad

Went to see this in theaters and I enjoyed it. Didnt love it but it completed an 'original' trilogy of Ghostbusters. Since then I have thought about the film and its growing on me. Decided to use a $5 dollar Bestbuy rewards certificate and buy this 4k edition. I think may more than enjoy and possibly love this movie now. So enjoyable and now i can say that Gozer is an ACTUAL threat this time opposed to the original film. I feel that Vigo the Carpthian was actually scary and a real threat. Now Gozer is a real threat! Bring on the 4th film and please be great! Great quality 4k picture! Recommended!
