Fun concept and cool art style. Game play is not so great. Repetitive and the aiming system is infuriating

I was hoping that this game would be great but its okay. It is very pretty and the abilities are cool but it gets VERY repetitive. The environment is cool, the story is interesting, but you'll find yourself doing the same things over and over. Worth it if you find this game on sale.

Pros: Fun Combat Decent Visuals Great Story Cons: Another open-world game with lots of busy work. The city is dead, unable to enter 99% of buildings turning the game into a bunch of hallways.

Ghostwire: Tokyo dazzles with its atmospheric, neon-haunted version of Tokyo and inventive supernatural powers, but the repetitive structure and simplistic combat hold it back from greatness.

This game has really amazing graphics i hat Hate the fact that you have to shoot with you heand which takes a while to kill the ghosts. I also been having bad dreams about this game after playing it because of the way they set the game up

Tango Gamesworks third game borrows from both Evil Within games to make for a more action heavy, ghost hunting experience set in a twisted Japanese myth invaded Tokyo with unique ghostbusting combat. Not a home run overall, but a solid open game that Ubisoft fans may enjoy.

Was a bit excited for this game but found it to be largely repetitive gameplay in a mostly empty world. The aesthetic can be nice but definitely did not live up to its potential.

I was expecting a lot more from this title, me being a Tango Gameworks fan and all, but unfortunately it ended falling a little flat for me. Not saying its a bad game by any means, but it seems to follow the same tropes that have made many games become tiresome over the last few years, in the open-world space. All the "go here, check that, clear this area" mechanics are very "been there, done that." I was just hoping with this being from the team that created some of my favorite horror games, this game with this awesome Tokyo setting had some awesome gameplay to go with it. Also the controls are funky and take some getting used to.

It's a beautiful game in motion, but too much of the game is a collectathon. The combat is dull and uninteresting.

This has been by far one of the best PS5 optimized games that I have played; The graphics are amazing, it loads fast, and the dualsense is immersive. With that said, the actual gameplay was okay. The best part of the game is walking through Tokyo in the rain. It's also a delight to anyone who is into yokai lore.

The game isn't bad by any means, it just feels a little undercooked. Your character feels very slow for the action based gameplay and you're kind of just thrown into the narrative without a whole lot of set up or explanation. On the other hand, the collect-a-thon aspect of searching the city for lost souls can be enjoyable for some, and the game has a certain charm in it's side quests and cute dogs and cats you can pet.

This is an interesting game to review. I didnt really vibe with the gameplay, but I was still compelled to continue exploring. The city streets were really well realized. As a bit of virtual tourism, the game really delivered. Combat wise, it was a letdown. Story-wise, I have mixed opinions...

The game feels a bit outdated, however the hand signs used to fight the enemies feel great. The story of the game isnt much to write home about either. I hope tango studio can use this as a foundation and build upon it for a future sequel if they decide to do one.

This game was okay. Main story was a bit short and the open world felt lifeless. Wait for a sale before you purchase, not worth full price
