I purchased the protection plan due to the fact that I have 3 children and accidents are bound to happen. With that said, the way the protection plan works is your tv has to screw up 4 times first before they just exchange it at the store. It took Geek Squad about a month each time to fix the problem then ship it back to me.

This worked very well for a small job and I will certainly buy it again.
