Many appreciate the monitor's value for its price and the inclusion of HDR, although some found the built-in speakers underwhelming. Excellent gaming monitor. Loses one star because the speakers ar very quiet, even at full volume. But headphones or external speakers fix that. Gorgeous! And a great price!

    Upgrade from 1080 ultra wide

I’ve only been using it for a couple of days now but I love it. I’ve been using an LG ultra wide for the past few years and just recently upgraded my PC and needed something to match. The old monitor was an IPS and I’ve got to say this looks much better. Could just be that the old one was only 1080p but still. The curve is great and I’ve had no issues with it so far. I did look at quite a few of the 1440 144hz monitors before purchasing this and I’ve got to say it’s a great deal for the money. Would definitely recommend.

After owning this monitor for several weeks, I can say without question I would not hesitate for a moment in recommending this monitor. It's fantastic for gaming as well as watching movies filmed in 21:9. The monitor is sharp and vivid and delivers a superb picture, especially for the price. For the money you'd be hard-pressed to find a better deal, particularly when you consider features like a 144hz refresh rate and adaptive sync. If you're in the market for an ultrawide monitor, this is certainly worthy of consideration. For me it was a no-brainer.

My first UltraWide experience was with an LG 29'. It was a total game changer! Then I realized that the color wasn't great for video editing and the refresh rate was lacking. I decided to take the leap and get a curved ultrawide. It is a TOTALLY different immersive feeling and at 144mhz + Freesync its nearly perfect. This is exactly what anyone who does video, photo and video game design needs. Its almost VR immersive for video games and a powerhouse for workstation functionality!

Great looking monitor, though it needed some adjustment out of the box. The sRGB mode seems to be the best after some testing and google searches for the best settings. HDR doesn’t seem to be very helpful, so I just leave it off. The joystick is a little wonky to use but it gets the job done. Speakers are almost inaudible, but I never planned on using them. I also play some competitive FPS shooters like valorant using this display, and VA panel feels quite responsive. Overall, it’s a big upgrade from a 1080p 144hz 24” monitor.

Looking for a gaming ultrawide monitor and bought two of these. It is a lot better than I expected. This monitor is really bright, awesome for gaming, and I love the quailty of the built. After receiving the monitors before it sold out, I didn't know it have Picture-by-Picture or Picture-in-Picture mode, which help me with my work since I used many 4 monitors, now I only use 2, which can be used as four monitors. The best 1440p free sync monitor out in the monitor, and it's cheap for a 34in ultrawide.

This is the sweet spot. In the $400 range its hard to beat this monitor. Granted, this is my first ultrawide curved, so i dont have anything to compare it to, but i am a happy customer. Youll need a somewhat decent computer to drive it though. Im currently using a ryzen 5600x cpu with a 3060ti gpu and modern games run great on it. If i can get my hands on a 3080, even better, but a 3060ti can definitely handle this thing. Highly recommend. Pull the trigger!

I paired this with an RTX 3070 and I am loving 34" 1440p gaming at high refresh rates. To me 34" at 1440p blows 4K 60FPS on 16:9 monitors/TVs. I also use the monitor for work and can have two coding windows open side by side easily - a game changer for productivity. The VA colors are great and I am seeing no smearing or ghosting or any nastiness. For $400 it is a steal! just make sure you have a GPU that can adequately drive games to get full use of 34" 1440p.

    My First UltraWide

This was my first UltraWide purchase and I was skeptical going into it since I also purchased a 32" 16:9 monitor. That being said, this has been one of the best computer related purchases I've made in years. Keep in mind I sit about 2 ft. away from the monitor. If I sat farther away (maybe 2 ft.) I might have kept the 32" 16:9. Since this is WQHD, there are more pixels than a QHD 16:9 monitor, but at a cost. This is basically a wider 27" monitor. So when comparing to a 32" 16:9, it's a bit tricky. If I sat farther away, a 32" QHD would be my choice since the extra width of this "wider 27" monitor" would be nullified due to the FOV. That being said, for productivity, no bezels is beyond amazing. It's hard to explain in words, but the versatility is pretty amazing. And when it comes to gaming, this thing is awesome. How often do you look at the top and bottom of your screen? Very rarely and it's less immersive. This monitor's ratio (21:9) is the same as what most movies are filmed in (2.35:1) so there's a reason this width is much more immersive. When it comes down to things specific about this monitor, the "joystick" control is by far the best method of any monitor I've used to adjust settings. Most monitors have multiple buttons and unless you constantly tinker with them, you forget which one does what and spend about 5 minutes trying to figure it out every time you want to adjust them. This has one joystick and all the settings can be intuitively adjusted from it. Colors are fantastic and when I did my own color adjustments with my colorimeter, it was inline with DisplayNinja's website. So very good for the price point. Point being, can't recommend this monitor enough.

This monitor is a bargain. There really aren’t any ultra wide monitors close in price that support 144hz refresh rate. I appreciate the fact that the monitor doesn’t have a bunch of flashy rgb. I do wish that the osd was able to be controlled through the computer and not just a button on the back of the monitor. I realize that it would need a usb hub in order to accomplish this.

So far this monitor has been great, the 3440 by 1440 resolution is super crisp at this size. I went from a 60hz monitor to this which is 144hz which is a game changer (with Windows 10 make sure you go into the settings, go to display, and then advance display settings to change it from the default 60hz to 144hz). This monitor does work great with G-Sync despite not being supported officially, it also has Freesync Premium certification. As far as HDR on Windows 10, I would recommend leaving it off for now as you will have a much better experience with it left off at this point, that's an issue that Microsoft has to solve. I think I covered everything in my inital review of the monitor, I will update if anything changes. Right now, the build quality and performance/price ratio is great!

Excellent quality for the price. We purchased our son his first gaming computer with this monitor for Christmas, and he loves both! He loves the screen size, picture quality and response time of the monitor...no lagging or delay so far. And added bonus, he finally started doing his chores, without being asked, so he won't lose his gaming computer privilege...so it's a win win!

I bought a Samsung G5 27" curved monitor to replace my aging Asus 24" flat monitor a few months back. The Samsung was a big improvement over my old Asus but the still seemed a little dim at times and the colors didn't quite pop and the settings were limited. Still good enough, but I had read reviews on this Gigabyte and they sounded really good. But Gigabyte over Samsung?? I thought I would give it a try and put them both to the test. Result: after a mere 2 hours the winner was clear. I immediately boxed up the Samsung and sold it! I wasn't sure about the Ultra Wide format of this Gigabyte, especially if my older GTX 1060 6gb video card had enough juice to feed it, but I noticed no difference in FPS while gaming and I really love the ultra wide screen format. The brightness and color literally blow the Samsung G5 away, not even close! Having the extra space in windows is great but gaming is really where it shines. To top it off, the monitor not only tilts but has height adjustment as well. Really just a fantastic monitor at a bargain price for a 34" ultra wide. GET THIS MONITOR!!

Loved this monitor so much that I bought a second one. The 144 MHz refresh rate was important so glad it supports that so well. Note that you will need to connect via included DVI cable to get that. If you have been using two regular monitors, side by side, you’ll love the seamless look and feel of the 34 inch wide, continuous screen. It ends up providing more useable screen that jamming separate monitors together because the bezels of the separate monitors take away from the physical room and affects how you place your apps. With this monitor, I can place apps dead center as well as off to the sides. The effect is a significant plus (at least to me). The only hassle is that sometimes you have to manually select which computer you have connected after they both go to sleep and you wake one (I have two computers on each monitor). I wish the monitor would more reliably sense which input is live/has woken up and present it.
