Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the excellent performance and effective cooling system of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 AORUS MASTER graphics card, along with its attractive LCD screen for customization. However, some users note the card's large size and point out challenges with the RGB software and its higher price point compared to other models. A few also reported power limitations.

    Good card, but power limited.

Great card if you don't plan to overclock at all. This card keeps temps super low for Ampere and takes pretty much anything I throw at it. The RGB options and LCD screen are pretty cool. The 2 x 8pin design is the main flaw though. The card is severely power limited and is constantly hitting the power cap and throttling itself down. You can overclock it, but very little since even the stock settings are just bouncing off the power cap. They recently released a 3 x 8pin revision of the card and I'm a little upset that I won't be able to swap this one for that one.

Short & simple: Gigabyte software for RGB & LCD control doesn't work on my PC. Tried every fix on the internet. Most people who have been able to snag this card have this problem.
