Great card, does what it says... when it wants to. I believe I got a lemon with my current card as Majority of reviewers benchmarks are considerably better than the one I purchased. It'll do for now but I will replace it when stock issues have been solved. Card runs pretty hot without overclocking and has crashed mulitple times with me even with the new Driver Nvidia put out to lower the boost frequency below 2Ghz.

Using for mining crypto. Fantastic value for the price.

Very powerful card with massive heatsink but bad thermal pads, would highly recommend changing them out and adding some more to the back to improve memory temps especially if you bought one for mining. 3mm on back and 2mm inside where the mem chips are, didn’t bother replacing the other thermal pads for vrms etc and still works fine.

Alert apps are how I got it, keep trying guys I feel for ya. Its a 3080, its great DUUR lol, just one FYI about this one if you dabble in OCing, the power limit isnt adjustable on this card above 100. But there really isnt a point to OC it honestly.

Works well but thermal throttles. Very powerful even when thermal throttled. Apparently the vram gets over 100 degrees when doing intensive stuff. Very common, but the card is still good.

Great GPU - 3080 is by far the best performance per dollar currently available. Cooling on this specific card can be somewhat of an issue. Just make sure you have adequate airflow and potentially underclock the memory a bit.

The pros, it's a 3080. The cons, it has terrible thermals and no thermal pads on the backplate. Have to take the card apart and risk warranty to save the card from overheating. With the new pads it will be an awesome card.

Upgraded from a 10 series card to this and could not be happier. This card is a beast and is capable of ultra settings at 150+ fps at 1440p for almost every game I play.

If you're akin to tinkering, replacement thermal pads help this card IMMENSELY! Mem temps dropped from 100+C at NO overclock and 100% fan to 78C at 1500 overclock and 75% fan

There was no thermal pad between the PCB and backplate. I bought thermal pad and modified it. Then it works in very low temperature than previous status. I love this card.

Purchased the card about a month ago. According to msi afterburner the vram is hitting upwards of 110c then thermal throttling down in some games. Ill get some stuttering and the occasional crash even when pushing the fan to 100% at 50c for gpu temp. Going to have to replace the pads and hope the temps go down. Not really acceptable for a card I thought was going to run cool based off reviews. Im only gaming with this card, no mining.

The card is as fast as expected. Buy it if you can ever find it in stock. Well worth the purchase.

Lucky to get one. Great for VR. More expensive than evga, but no complaints nowadays.
