Just "Ok"
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With the recent MSRP hike this card is just not worth it over other ones which is what I would recommend people do. If you don't mind the price hike and are just trying to find a card while it's not the greatest, it preforms well. As a 3090 it takes all workloads and gaming without any issues so far. All games and DLSS usage at 4k max settings looked amazing while running quiet the whole time. Core temp never goes above 60C. One main concern about this card for my case would be dealing with any high VRAM intensive 'workloads' with the VRAM temperatures hitting upwards of 108C at stock due to the very poor thermal pads. After replacing the VRAM thermal pads it never went above 94C in my case. Don't recommend having to open up this card in order to fix Gigabytes issues and again hope that people go to other cards if there are any during the Best Buy drops. If the problem above doesn't apply to you, this card is alright to go for and given the market right now it may be your only option. Props to Best Buy for actually being a place people can get cards.

Amazing, love it.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic card, runs beautifully and stays under 60c even under stress. I sold my kidneys for this so I’m glad I didn’t waste all the money my grandmama lent me.

The king of video cards has arrived.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ultimate video card! Installation was a piece of cake. Just make sure you have enough clearance has this will take up practically the entire case width. If you are running front fans in the case you may have to adjust. If you are using this card for mining id strongly recommend changing out the thermal pads as all 3090 have over heating issues. If used for gaming you are in perfect shape. I ran 4k league on ultra wide screen monitor at over 100fps constant with 144hz signal through disport. No problem!

Beast of a card
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Using it for more than a year now. It's a beast, temps do crank up when playing video games or doing deep learning on it. FYI: it fits mini ATX case very tightly something to be aware about

Great GPU
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great GPU for gaming and production workloads. Make sure your PSU is at least 1000w for some transient power loads. My power supply also had to be upgraded to handle the extra power requirements.

Finally!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a 2070 super and the difference is noticeable. No heat issues, no install issues. Easy peasy. Wish I could have gotten my hands on it a lot sooner.

Cheap materials result in card failure
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to return mine due to an issue with the power connectors. The card is excessively large, with 3inches of heat fins extending past the pcb. Because of this an extention to the 8 pin power sockets was used. This is where the fault was. The extension uses probably some of the cheapest available pins in the actual socket. They are larger in diameter vs the typical soldered-on-board pins. Because they are so large and are only retained by "wings/flaps" on either side of the pin, the necessary force required to install power causes the pins to recess into the connector resulting in no power to the gpu. This is a known issue with early production runs of this card and a new connector has since been used.

Top of the line performance.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You can't get much any better than a 3090. Great performance... though it comes at a premium. In my case, the premium wasn't justified so I downgraded.

Reliability might be a concern
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased in Oct/Nov of 2021. I was veey pleased with performance and how silent it runs. Side mounted in case with a support rod to prevent sag. Sadly the fans seem to habe started chirping a few days ago, leading me to worry that it might be signs of an extremely early demise. I will try to dust out the case again and hope the chirp goes away. Even then, quite disappointed.

The real deal
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card is as ridiculously powerful as it is expensive. Furmark with a 110Hz 4K monitor was not enough to get the fans to increase from their default state. Props to Best Buy for having an organized way to even buy graphics cards right now...

Worthy of your Consideration
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite how expensive this high end graphics card, its build quality and performance out of the box more than justify its price tag. Its optimized cooling performance and silent operation are the icing on the cake. Get this if you can!

Great card
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been this card for several months for video editing and gaming and has worked flawlessly. Using hardware encoding brings down render times tremendously in resolve. A little pricey but would recommend if I’m stock. Temps stay below 65 in games and 55 while at idle.

Power to the core
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.what can i tell you about a 3090 that you don't already know? it's powerful, like really powerful, it runs most of my games at 4k 144hz without even have to give it 100%.. Nvidia simply made their homework, couldn't be more happy

Not Sure...
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, I am not entirely sure the issue here but this just did not work for me. While using this graphics card (during a game), my CPU would heat up drastically. Around 25 degrees or so higher than recommended temperatures. I swapped back to my old GPU and started gaming to confirm this. I understand it draws a good amount of power but to be throwing that much heat... I don't get it. My case has plenty of air flow and I have a sufficient power supply so I am not completely sure what the deal is. Either way, I returned the card to Best Buy as the amount of heat it was producing just didn't seem right. I will wait until I am able to find either an EVGA or Founder's Edition 3080 instead.
