Great 4K Ultra gaming video car!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The performance is amazing. You do pay a premium but compared the the 3000 series value proposition you get more performance per dollar.

Powerhouse.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 4080 is an awesome card. Everybody is hating on it, but so far I love it. Playing games at MAX sightings, getting crazy FPS. I'm very happy that I got this card.

It’s great but price …
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s great especially upgrading from a 1070 but the price and performance for the 4080 vs 4090, the 4090 is unfortunately the better deal because it’s not much of a price difference but a big performance difference. Now of course I’m talking about OEM prices like the card I got but over all I kinda wish I could have gotten a 4090 now after seeing how much of a difference there actually is with the 4090 and I absolutely had to hop on getting this card because otherwise I would have most likely still been stuck with my terrible 1070 since these things sell out imminently every time it’s available.

Just get a 4090
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With this card being the same size as the 4090 and also very expensive, there is no reason to get this card. Unless you need something right now because of availability.

Plenty of power

3 pin adapter issues for psu
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.set up card in my pc with my 850 watt power supply screen was blank .. got to messing with th 3 prong adapter that comes with the card and found out i had to bend the wires on the 3rd most outer prong to get the card to spin its fans up and get power i sat there and held it and i got windows to boot and finaly had a image let go and went to type on the key board and image disappeared. the culprit was the adapter to the power supply i had to bend it a certain way to get power.

4080 Review
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great card. Absolutely massive and won't fit in most cases. Would dominate if the value wasn't so bad. I'm not one of those asking for this card to be $700. That's just nonsense. It should not be above $1000 though since the only reason a 4070ti wouldn't end this card is due to the 12GB VRAM it has. It is just too much money for a 1440p card. Has the required VRAM for some future proofing and slaps 1440p gaming at high refresh. Lower voltage compared to a 4090 but you lose much more in performance. Plug and play, didn't need DDU. Runs cool and quiet and gigabyte support was really responsive when I tested them out. Looking for 4K? Just save up for a 4090 and don't worry about upgrading for years. Pricing will never improve but at least high end performance still is. They could take away both eventually next generation and AMD isn't aiming to be a savior.

Massive Upgrade!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After days and days of refreshing BB frantically, I managed to purchase an “Open Box-Excellent” condition 4080 for $1015.99. While I had hoped to get an open box 4090, I was already way over my budget so settled here. BB shipped it out to me fairly quickly and it only took a couple of days to arrive which was great. Upon receiving the card the box was partially torn and the card was not in mint or “excellent” condition whatsoever. Previous owner had installed it and didn’t do a great job of taking care of it. Nothing too bad though, just some dust and a few scuffs that came right out. As for the card, this thing is a real beast. I decided to upgrade from an RTX 3080 12GB because I wanted the extra VRAM for some 3D rendering. So far I have only used it for gaming and in most cases I am getting at least DOUBLE the performance I was getting out of the 3080. Maxing all settings out and getting all the FPS I could possibly desire. While on the 3080 I was mostly playing at 1440 which is my monitors native resolution, I find I am now able to play any game in 4K with DLDSR and still get very high frames. Most people will tell you to just wait if you’re sitting on a 3080 but I am very glad to have gone with the 4080. I play ultrawide and play all types of games and being able to just crank everything up in 4K DLDSR and still get over 120 FPS all while never even going over 65 degrees has been quite impressive. If you can find the right deal or just wanna blow a wad of cash, do it lol. Cards a beast and I would do the same purchase all over again.
