I love the card, great build quality and runs super quiet.

Great upgrade from my old gpu. Plays most of my games with high settings 4k without upscaling. More demanding games will need upscaling or lower the resolution or foboth. I should have waited for the rtx 5080 super which is rumored to start at $999 and will have 8gb of vram more.

PRO: The Gigabyte RTX 5080 Gaming OC 16G is a high-performance GPU built on NVIDIA’s next-gen Blackwell architecture, offering substantial upgrades over the previous generation. With 10,752 CUDA cores, 16GB of GDDR7 memory, and a boost clock of 2,730 MHz, it delivers exceptional performance in both 4K gaming and professional workloads. I use this card not only for immersive gaming but also extensively for the Adobe Creative Suite, and it handles everything from Premiere Pro to After Effects with speed and stability. Gigabyte’s WINDFORCE triple-fan cooling keeps thermals in check, while a dual BIOS setup allows switching between performance and quiet modes. Power draw is ~400W, so a good PSU is recommended. Just upgraded mine to 1500w PSU. With DLSS 4 support, top-tier specs, and great overclocking potential, the RTX 5080 is a powerful and reliable choice for both gaming and creative work.
CONS: EXPENSIVE! Would I recommend the GPU to a friend, YES.

Fantastic example of an RTX 5080. Zero coil whine which is incredibly important but can never be full expected even on elite series of components. A well-binned example as well with quite a lot of overclocking headroom. In terms of value in the current market I am very much impressed.

-upgraded from 3090 90% uplift and 50% less watts(from 550 to 350 watt on 100 psu) also runs cooler by 15 degrees.
-very quiet and led could be switched off.
-no card can play pathtracing natively even 5090 get 45fps on pathtracing with out dlss and fg.
if you are upgrading from 3000s serious or older this is it,triple the performance half the enrgy and heat.

Works great! I have mine mounted vertically but it was nice to see it came with an anti-sag bracket considering how large it is. Definitely check your case space before purchasing to make sure it fits!

Runs really well on my Pc! Haven't had any issues and I am able to play a lot of demanding games :) Im not the type to push it to its limits but i am able to do video editing, photoshop, run multiple apps, and play most if not all my games on the highest res!

It is an amazing and overpriced card that has enough tensor cores to do a great job with AI work but the problem is that it was too long for my case. It is far longer than you realize so be sure to measure first. I had to return it.

Thing is cold as ice. Doesn't break 60C running Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 at 1440p/150fps ultra settings.
This is, of course, because of its cooling. It obviously OUTPUTS a lot of heat into the room it's in.

It's a solid card. However, not worth the $$. If your 2k gaming, save your money and get the 9070xt or the 5070ti. They are close to the same performance, at a much more reasonable price. I got this as an "upgrade" from my 7900xtx. It is better, but not by much... Really a waste of money.

In your hands it feels like a very high-quality made, large nickel-plated radiator, no red copper parts are visible, the maximum temperature in all indicators is below 75 °C under heavy load.

This card is a beast and works great. Make sure to measure your slots for enough clearance. I had to take a fan off of my AIO cooler in order to fit this.
