    Awful value, bad coil whine

What does this "premium" OC model get you for the additional $130 over MSRP? It's literally the same cooler and pcb as the MSRP model, just with a whopping 5% overclock. My particular unit had very bad coil whine, it was louder than the fans and everything else in my build. The cooler is also undersized, and this card runs hot. Hot spot temps were near 90c (88.9c according to HWINFO) and memory temps reached 94c. That's just too hot for $130 over the MSRP. I am using a O11 Vision with bottom and side intake and there's plenty of airflow and access to cool air in my build - expect this card to run even hotter if you don't have sufficient airflow in your case. There doesn't seem to be anything "premium" about this model to justify the increased price at all. If this card was an MSRP model at $600 I could have potentially lived with these faults, as there are many positive features of these 9070 XTs. With some slight tuning I was able to achieve better than out of the box performance using significantly less power - I was able to limit power draw -20% and set an undervolt of -.80 with an overclock value of +500 (which it will not achieve, but will run at a maximum clock based on load and power). All of this was easily done through the better than the competition adrenaline software. Surprisingly games were a few fps HIGHER than stock while using around 270 watts (stock is 330). The card ran cooler (hot spot was a much better 80c), but memory still ran warm at 92c. Not to mention FSR 4 actually being good... but RNDA 4 is surprisingly efficient as well (when tuned). It's a shame AMD isn't doing anything to resupply MSRP models. I have been checking best buy and other competitors (microcenter being one) and since launch there hasn't been any MSRP cards - this card is as close as it has come to $600 to get a 9070XT, and it just feels bad at $730. AMD insists that MSRP models are a priority but I think they are just "jebating" gamers. If they wanted to have MSRP models on store shelves they could easily do so. I'm returning this for the coil whine and awful cooler/value. I can't recommend this card at the current price.

Works so good right out of the box. This is the best graphics card I’ve ever bought in my life. My games look amazing now Diablo four looks so good really brings out the 3-D in the game at points. I can see just amazing picture vibrant 16 GB of memory is so nice to have now I can play any game in 1440 no problem

This thing runs pretty much anything I can throw at it with no problem and handles 1440p solidly. I've heard some reviews saying that the 9070xt runs hot, but this one stays around 60-65C with no issues and that was prior to undervolting, which it handled like a champ.

This is an excellent gpu. The fans amp up in performance mode but when you change some settings around its quiet and still performs the same even better if you overclock it. 10/10

Got a open box deal for almost MSRP around the time it came out and the prices were crazy, had no problems at all. Highly recommend if you can get for around MSRP.

1440p gamer here. Run an AMD 7900X with 32GB ram. I upgraded from an nVidia GTX 1070 8GB. Ive built two new PCs since my 1070 purchase, but I waited a long time on GPU because value for my purchase was key to me, as i want my choice of GPU to last me a long time. It felt like the right time because of the actual benchmarks without scaling and the slew of reviews for the drivers and performance. It really is crushing everything i throw at it, no sweat. Easy to use AMD drivers. Fantastic performance. Ive owned it since April and i game about 10 hrs a week. I’m honestly shocked and thrilled with it so far - proud of the purchase!

The gpu is easy to install and performs extremely well at 1440p. I am getting more than 144fps easily on many games with tbh out any FSR or FG software activated. I highly recommend this card for the price range.

    "From Challenger to Champion"

As a former owner of the ASRock Challenger RX 7800 XT, I can tell you that card was a champ. It got the job done for 1440p gaming and never complained. But then, the Gigabyte Gaming RX 9070 XT showed up, and it's like my PC finally learned to fly. The Performance Upgrade The leap in performance is genuinely shocking. Going from the 7800 XT to the 9070 XT feels like the difference between a brisk walk and a full-on sprint. I'm seeing a significant bump in FPS, especially at 4K, where the 9070 XT pulls ahead by a massive margin—up to a 40-49% increase in games like Cyberpunk 2077. This isn't just an upgrade; it's a new gaming experience. New Technology & Power Usage One of the most impressive things about the 9070 XT is the new technology it packs. The RDNA 4 architecture comes with third-generation ray tracing accelerators and second-generation AI accelerators, which really makes ray tracing and upscaling technologies like FSR 4 shine. It also has a new AMD Radiance Display Engine for better visuals. Now, for the power usage. While the RX 9070 XT is a more power-hungry card with a typical board power of 304W compared to the 263W of the 7800 XT, it's a small price to pay for the massive performance gain. Plus, with the new efficiency optimizations, you're getting a lot more performance per watt, which is the real magic trick. It's like it's a gourmet chef that uses a little more energy but serves up a Michelin-star meal every time. In short, if you're looking for a serious upgrade that's worth the investment, the Gigabyte RX 9070 XT is a no-brainer. It's an absolute beast. This video compares the real-world benchmarks of the RX 7800 XT and the RX 9070 XT to see if the upgrade is truly worth it. RX 7800 XT vs RX 9070 XT Real World Benchmarks

I'm coming from a rtx 4070, and this card about double raw fps in all my games. I'm running this off of a 7 5800x3d cpu. My monitor is a Asus 2k Oled 240hz. I did get this OC 9070xt for 719. First time Amd GPU buyer. No regrets. Before this purchase, I was having monitor flickering and black screens randomly, and fps drops. After switching to Amd all those issues went away. Nvidia is having drivers issues with games, they're too focused on AI. I hope they solve it, because they did have great cards. Their costs are to high too.

This thing is amazing. I use it for 1440p ultrawide gaming and it performs flawlessly on everything I throw at it at the highest settings. The card itself runs very quietly too. Fantastic bang for buck.

This thing is an absolute animal. Upgraded from a EVGA 3080ti and have seen notable performance increase paired with a Ryzen 7 7800x3D. System cooling has also dropped ~20-25° C under load with a stable 120 FPS on all games at 1440p. FSR frame generation also works phenomenal on games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 where optimization is poor.

Increased my performance 100 fold. Install and setup was super easy, and the sliding RGB cover lets me keep my setup from looking like RGB vomit. My only gripe is that cards are getting too big and you need to buy a GPU support of some kind.
