This dvd picks up where the last season 7 ends. I feel every fan of Gilmore girls was excited for more , however I was left feeling a bit disappointed and wanting more information or closure . Maybe they ended it that way on purpose to eventually be continued.

I absolutely live Gilmore Girls so when I saw A Year in the Life I had to buy it. This series definitely does not disappoint

Purchased as a gift for my mom. She has the rest of the series so this completes the set!

I think that "Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life" was one of the greatest films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite films of all-time. I was really excited to see this film and I enjoyed it immediately. I also think that "Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable drama and humor including really amazing and original personal storylines.

My family loves The Gilmore Girls and they were looking forward the the Netflix revival. While the new four part series sometimes felt a little bloated in some places, overall, it captured the spirit and fun of the original series, especially the last part. For any fan of The Gilmore Girls, this Blu-Ray is a no-brainer. The real question is whether we'll see another continuation of the story...

I had heard about season 8 on Netflix and I don’t have Netflix so I had hoped that it would eventually turn up on dvd. Then I saw it at Best Buy and couldn’t wait to buy and watch. It was everything I hoped it would be until the end. I didn’t like the way it ended. It was cut short , too open ended. Maybe on purpose?? I feel I will like season 8 more if there is a season 9 on the way ???

I am a die hard Gilmore Girls Fan. Watched the Series from episode 1 to the finale. I binge watched a Year in the Life as soon as it hit Netflix and couldn't wait to own it on DVD. Highly Recommend, no collection is complete without it.

This was a great show that is much more than just a reunion episode. It adds to the story in a great way and resolved some longstanding questions.

I loved this movie and the quality! At first A Year in the Life wasn’t what I expected. After about 15 minutes I started to connect with the fact that 10 years had passed and realized each character was perfect and realistic!

My wife has ALL of the episodes for Gilmore Girls and was very excited to own this follow-on. It is under the tree waiting for Christmas, but this is supposed to put a bow on the series, so she is very happy.

I don't watch the show, but my girlfriend does and she absolutely loved this because the only way to watch previously was through Netflix. Now she can watch it whenever, even when we don't have Netflix.

I had to have the complete Gilmore Girls collection. I wish they had all the seasons plus this in a single package and in Blu-Ray, but you can’t have it all, I guess. I enjoyed watching it all for what is likely a 4th time.

Time has passed, however, Lorelai and Rory are back and pleasant and comforting mother/daughter duo. Excellent return of Gilmore Girls.

Just like everybody else I love the Gilmore Girls. However this mini season was kind of disappointing. I wish they would have done more for Rory than what they did. She could have been something great but they let everyone down. This could have been so much better!

Love that this season was released on Blu Ray. It was the perfect Christmas gift for my mom who loves Gilmore Girls

This is awesome continuation for the Gilmore Girls + it ends the way the original creator wanted the series to end. Hopfuly they will make another installment :-)

My wife loves this show. So she need this to complete her collection. Only disappointment is there are no real extra features which is a shame.
