From an old movie the movie image looks great in this 4k format

Audio (Atmos and DTS:X) are upgrades, but in my opinion, it doesn’t have to be only (or even the main) reason to “double-dip” here... I also appreciate the visuals of 4K (UHD Blu-ray) over the 2K (Blu-ray) overall. HDR coloring (moreso than the aspect of sharpness) can make a difference for both of these movies. I found that the opening scenes of ‘Gladiator’ have way better contrast and detail. (Fire is well highlighted, and any beams sunlight leading through the tall trees have clarity above SDR. Even the tent scenes after the battle with the barbarians appear more natural.) In ‘Braveheart’, the earlier scene where young William seeing Scottish countrymen hanging inside the hut was about night and day difference (almost literally). (The Blu-ray is brighter and looks as if the time of day is late afternoon.) I had been holding off on this purchase, but now, I am satisfied after pulling the trigger. Note; Discs (plural) also came with digital codes.

I grew up watching both the Gladiator and Braveheart so when I saw this bundle I knew I had to have it. It’s definitely a bargain because purchasing both separately will cost slightly more. Braveheart has an Atmos track which is very well balanced. Gladiator has DTS:X which is nice but some sequences sound a little out of balance. Picture quality is great for both. Both titles proved to be great additions to my 4K UHD Blu-Ray collection.

I recently purchased a high-end 4K TV, and I decided to try this 4K UHD movie set. The image quality is amazing. I never knew how good 4K was until I made the upgrades. The audio quality is also great, as expected with my home theater.

The 4k transfer of Braveheart and Gladiator is a stunning upgrade from the previous Blu-ray versions. The films look crisp and vivid, with enhanced colors and details. The cinematography and the epic scenes are more impressive than ever.

Two of my favorite period epics. Great movies. 4ks are great. It was also a wonderful price when I got it.

Two of the best movies ever made in 4K. What else could you ask for?! Love these and the picture quality is superb.

Classic movies that I enjoyed growing up, now to have them in 4K is something I'll enjoy even more!

Two classics together on 4k and digital copies to enjoy.

Excellent movies with excellent picture and sound quality.

Firstly I will say this: Gladiator 4K stand-alone is $19.99, Braveheart 4K stand-alone is $17.99. This is only $27.99 (when I bought it), save money and just get this. This was released after those two so it has the same transfer as each of those. This is first time I have seen either one of these films and I was not disappointed at all. These films look fantastic in 4K, especially Gladiator. Desert films shot in bright, natural sunlight somehow transfer perfectly in HDR. Gladiator has Dolby Vision but no Atmos, just a DTS 5.1 audio transfer (sorry Sonos owners). Braveheart also has Dolby Vision but does have Atmos so I am very happy. Gladiator Extended is nonstop fun, I couldn’t get enough and didn’t want to get up! Braveheart dragged in certain spots and felt more like a mini-series, or what should have been a mini-series, kind of awkwardly edited into slightly longer than standard movie length. Both are not only worth the watch, but worthy of any cinema collection, especially a 4K collection, get it while you can!

I couldn’t pass up on the amazing two movie bundle deal. Great price for two incredible and unforgettable movies.
