Just started using this portable ac unit for an entire day and it gets the job done. I have it in my room that's medium size. Since I have very small windows, I had to make my own window exhaust since the window kit that came with it was way too large. Pros: Get's the job done. Keeps my room nice and cool. Very convenient with the remote and various options. Cons: It is pretty loud. The temperature gauge on the little display on top seems a bit off, never showing going below 78 degrees when my set temperature is 70-75 degrees.

This is ac is good. For people that read English its better. It shows a small lit up picture of the option for cool dry and fan. Comes with a remote. Hot days everyone's too lazy to get up. Cools good. Had it for 2 or so months and still working good. But I don't use this one much since we have a few note ac in this house. For a small room get the lowest output available to save on the bills if you don't want a high bill

works pretty well.. its fairly loud but I think that's pretty normal for a portable air conditioner... all in all for the money, its a good deal!

Giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because when it worked, it worked ok. Not fine. Not great. Just ok. It was noisy which wasn't much a big deal. Kind of like a hotel room ac. But then just over 2 weeks went by and out of nowhere everytime the AC was on it would make a weird hackling noise as if a marble was being tossed around inside a fan. Very annoying. Funny thing is that it never happened when the "fan only" function was on. Only when the AC function was on. Remote was cool and so were the controlls but for a 10,000 BTU ac unit it took forever to cool a small room. Plus the marble stuck inside a fan noise didnt help either. Returned and grabbed a 6000 BTU window unit and it's night and day. Works MUCH better and it's less noisy.

I have a studio apartment where we can not get a window air conditioner, so I read the reviews and found out the sqft of my apartment to make sure it would get cool and when I say summer was great, I wasn't hot, I slept well, it kicks out really cool air. The only downside I have is the remote control too many buttons and settings. Once I figured out how to get it to the temperature for my apartment I was fine. Definitely a good price and worth every penny

Built quality is decent, but one hose units has their limitations (2 hose units are always more efficient). This unit is not super loud, but not exactly quiet. Think of those in-room motel AC systems, that's about the noise level it generates. I am exchanging this to a Wynter 2 hose unit.

This is a solid air conditioner, not too heavy, not too loud, does a fine job of cooling a medium sized room. Venting the exhaust hose was a bit challenging, until I figured out I could point it up the fireplace flue. Sooty, but convenient!

I love this a/c unit. My bedroom receives the heat from morning till night. I have blackout curtains but those weren't working. I was miserable, had to wait for the sun to go down every day this summer before my room would be okay to be in. I purchased this unit after doing alot of research and reading alot of customer reviews. Like others were saying, it does make noise but I will take that over the heat any day! The unit works fast and cools my entire room.

It is nice and small and gets my room nice and cold really quick.

For the price this thing is a beast! It not only does A/C but also de-humidifies very well, and has a fan also. I would highly recommend this product. We use it in the garage in the summer in Texas, so yeah it works this product is awesome!!

Wasn't sure about weather or not this would work for my downstairs but I couldn't be more pleased! It has really helped me get through these past two months and the price was better than anywhere I had compared this purchase before buying. Thank you Best Buy!

this works so great to cool a bedroom. It is worth the money.

Love this A/C - doesn't affect electricity bill all that much, and it really does cool down the whole room (we have it in our kitchen/living room which is ~400 square feet, works great and spills into the bedroom if its door is open. Great price for an easy portable unit.

I live in a historic home that does not have central air conditioning, this product is an excellent option to remove humidity and cool any room!

I purchase this unit to cool a dorm room for my daughter. It managed to take the top 6-8 degrees from the room and reduced the moisture.

Overall this works as needed keeping a few small rooms cool as necessary.

Keeps small room cool. Wouldn't recommend it for a big room.
