We were aware African Americans served during the Civil War but did not realize they were in the thick of the battle like is portrayed in this film. They were very courageous and played an important role.

Can’t shy away from the importance this film has on showcasing the history of our nation! Young Denzel and Freeman are phenomenal in this film. Pq looks clean and updated given for its time. Aq is a little lacking in the vocal department and a few moments where bass is a little loose. Overall it’s the best version of the film available!

The 54th Massachusetts, formed entirely of black ex-slaves and free men, helped change the tide of war in 1863. Because of them 180,000 other blacks were allowed to serve and fight against the south.

This movie is one of the best movies made. Watched it on TV. Wanted it for my collection. Thank you Best Buy for having it to purchase.

Glory is honestly one of the best Civil War movies I've seen. Outside from some of the added drama, the movie is fairly historically accurate in the depiction of this military regiment.

This may have been Denzel Washington's breakthrough film. It's a powerful, Civil War drama that is based on fact (not all factual, but not pure fiction). Good choice to have in one's collection.

This is a great movie on so many levels. Denzel, Morgan and Matthew really make this movie sing. It has great action and amazing character development all set to the backdrop of the civil war.

I truly believe this is one of the best movies ever made in the history of film. Blu-ray itself is excellent. Wonderful video and audio quality. Highly recommended!

I used to think Matt Broderick was a lightweight until I saw Glory. Wow, this is movie I watch every year, a total classic. It has all the elements of a great story.

Definitely a Civil War era must have movie. No words are needed when looking into the eyes of Denzel Washington's character during a hard to watch scene. An Oscar well deserved!

First time we realized black soldiers fought during the Civil War. Denzel Washington is one of our favorite actors and he and Morgan Freeman were superb.

A most wonderful movie that moves along with the daily lives of the first black volunteers and their officers who fought in the Civil War. This also covers some of the prejudices they suffered with both those whose side they were fighting with and also their enemies. The subject matter is so relevant.
