As I drove from California to Texas, I plugged my phone into the sun charger and kept it powered up and charged. Arrived at my destination each night with a fully charged phone after using it all day with Waze to get where I was going, Free energy on my RV dashboard!

Gonna take this camping to charge batteries. So I’ve tested it in the backyard and it has fully changed the batteries. I’m sure I’ll find other uses for it also.

I purchased this panel to help cut my electric bill and have a power source while hiking/at the pool or beach. The panel is fairly rugged. I have used it daily since purchasing it in December (it is now 20FEB19). I use it to charge my Note 8 and a Goal Zero Venture 30 battery pack. It charges both quickly and you can monitor this via the four LED indicators that illuminate depending on how much sun it is receiving. I use this to charge my phone or portable speaker while using them at the beach or pool. The panel folds in half, making it easy to pack and hike with. There is also a USB cord and attached leg to prop the panel up to the proper angle for usage. Never any issue with this panel, works every time and is easy to use. I use this in conjunction with the Goal Zero Venture 30 batter pack and another battery daily. We have cut our electric bill $5-10 a month. Not a lot, but nice and we have some backup potential for hurricane season. I highly recommend this if you are into hiking, being outdoors or need a small panel for power outages.

I took the solar charger on a camping trip and found it will recharge my Motorola G5S Plus phone from half charged in about an hour under a sunny sky with a few clouds. I adjust the panel to the sun as it moves across the sky to get maximum exposure.

Great product to carry with you on outdoor excursions. We used this to charge our phones and tablets while on a two week camping trip. The product worked great so long as you position it to where it’s getting maximum sun exposure.

Keeps a phone charged throughout the day or external power battery pack by USB connection. Pretty rugged but has some flaws like plastic coating peeling and corners are a little weak but overall it should last years.

I am outside when the sun is out so I didn’t want to keep bringing a power pack when I could charge my phone. I recommend buying a long cord so whatever you are charging don’t have to be in the sun with this product which gets extremely hot and you don’t want to move it while it’s in the sun

Bought the Goal Zero Nomad 7 Plus for a camping trip. Should have read some reviews as there are plenty around that state it could not charge an iphone not to mention it received a very poor review from outdoor gear lab. For the record it never maintained a consistent 4 LED status which is what is described as providing 5V output and that is what is needed to charge an iphone. I was really only able to consistently maintain a 2 LED light status and this was even with cloudless skies around the Columbia River Valley/Gorge in central WA. As Best Buy only provides a 15 day return policy I was not able to return this product on my return from the trip. I therefore attempted to sell the product on Amazon and received a copyright infringement notice from Amazon via Goal Zero as I stated honestly in my product description that I can only speak for my experience attempting to use the product to charge an iphone and it failed so I would not buy this from me if that is your intended purpose. Not only does the product not work but the company must vigilantly try to snuff out honest reviews and even those attempting to protect future buyers that the product is not capable of providing a consistent 5V output. Buy at your own risk and try to re-sell at your own risk as well. By the way, bought some cheap $39.99 solar panel, just slightly larger than an iphone, half the size of the Goal Zero Nomad 7 Plus, and it has no problem charging an iphone.

I used this for track and field and this was a life saver since there were not any nearby outlets at a track this helped me keep my phone charged by sunlight, it also helped out my teammates phone as well.

Very easy to use, practical, and better than expected performance. I used it on the beach to recharge my iPhone 7 +, and my JBL Flip 4 speaker and did it in a short time and steady way. Even that there were some clouds around..

Bought this for my family emergency kit. It’s a must for keeping phones and other devices charged in the aftermath of a disaster, in case there is no power.
