The game has a lot of customization and has almost the same gameplay as monster hunter, but a lot more anime themed.

It's similar to Monster Hunter, but focuses more on story, so if you like hunting games, but also want a story, then this game is for you.

Never played the original on the handheld console. But this game looked fun so wanted to try it out. Not awesome but was enjoyable.

Many will come attracted to the anime-esque graphics of God Eater. If you are looking into this game, chances are you already know what it's about. A monster hunter clone that does just enough right to fill the void, but not quite the real thing. You'll either love it or hate it. It's a hack and slash action rpg grind fest. You won't find much deviation in the gameplay throughout the game, but if you like that MMO type of grind of getting "the best gear", you'll feel right at home.

Very similar to monster hunter but more story focused which is a plus personally and all of story can be played co-op.

Ordered this online for a pick up. Transaction went smoothl and with no hassles. As for the game, it's plenty of fun if you're too tired of playing Monster hunter on portable platform

I had fun playing this with my friends it's a great game to play. If you you love freedom wars you'll love this

The game is fun for a while. But the voice work is horrible, why didn't they just use the Japanese voices?!

The game is fun, but a bit repetitive. It is nice that the first game is included for free with purchase.

My favorite aspect of this game is the weapons. They are like living weapons that can do many things.

It's fun but gets repetitive later on. ATM i prefer Monster HUnter to this. but MH isnt on PS anymore

If you're a fan of other anime-style games, you'll probably like this. Fun, over-the-top game.

This is a remastered version of the Vita game, so the core limit of that version is obvious here. The graphics won't impress you, but it does add some new content and it includes the original game as well. The game can be fun and satisfying, but it does get repetitive and becomes more of a grind. That's true for most "hunter" games though.

This game actually brings two games. Also, they are ports from the PSP (or the Vita, not exactly sure). That being said, the graphics might be of less quality when compared to typical PS4 games, but they are not horrible. Gameplay is the real killer here, as games from the handheld system tend to be slower than usual console games (at least for this one) and I prefer faster paced gameplay.

IF you like Monster Hunter type games you will like this game.

As long as you can tolerate the par voice acting, the game is pretty sweet. Looking forward to more in the series
