Amazing gameplay and storyline plus awesome collector's edition

Collector's Editions becoming fewer these days due to digital becoming the go-to for a lot of gamers. I jumped at the opportunity to get this God of War CE. I was not disappointed. The entire box is filled with quality items. Thor's Hammer is the most impressive. And the actual box itself is something that you'll want to have on display. I really ejnoyed the game. The story really hits you in the feels. However, the pacing of Ragnarok isn't as tight as the 2018 God of War. Instead of the one continuous shot of playing as Kratos as we did in the previous game, we play as Atreus here and there. I won't say anything more pertaining to that since I won't spoil anything. The visuals are impressive but if I am going, to be honest, I was more impressed with the visuals of Horizon Forbidden West and that was a cross-gen game as well. The combat in Ragnarok is responsive and fluid. You're going to love switching weapons mid-fight and performing a brutal finisher! If you're fortunate enough to get your hands on this Collector's Edition then I know you won't be disappointed. If you're only wanting to play the game then again, you won't be disappointed by the time you finish the meaningful story.

God of War Ragnarok is an exceptional game from beginning to end. Gameplay is fun and the story will tug at your heart strings every step of the way. The collector's edition only adds to this joyful experience and comes with an exceptionally detailed replica of Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, from the game. This is perfect for any fan of God of War, or Norse mythology in general.

Don't bother reading any further, because I wont bother writing much. The bottom line is that just like the 2018 reboot, this game lives up to the immense hype and deserves the accolades it is receiving. The 2022 Game of the Year (snatching it from the hands of Elden Ring). Gorgeous visuals, great audio, incredible acting, an emotional and gripping story and of course that trademark GoW gameplay and action. This edition is great: Mjolnir is a solid piece and the other extras are very nice, along with an excellent display box presentation. The only downside (other than not being the Jotnar Edition) is that they do NOT include the game disc but rather a download code. I will probably get a physical copy of the game when the inevitable price drop happens, but for anyone still reading this JUST BUY IT!

Very nice collector's edition for arguably my favorite video game ever. The Mjolnir replica is worth it by itself. Wish it came with a physical copy of the game but unfortunately these just don't do that anymore

Even with the allfather being the villain in this game…. Hes still impressed with this game. Great story, great collectibles, a mjolnir repoica that would make even the mighty Thor proud…. How could you possibly go wrong.

Top tier game, deserves winning best narrative. I wish I could experience it all over again fresh. The collectibles were great, but the real centerpiece is definitely the hammer. Would recommend.

Santa Monica's best game yet. The graphics, story, and combat mechanics are great. Leviathan axe is just as fun to throw around as the first game.

I love the God of War franchise and have purchased every collector’s edition. This collector’s edition is one of my favorites. I really like the quality of Mijonir (Thor’s hammer). Its a great peice to have on display in my game room. Plus the game is absolutely great!!!

1. Ragnarok is a worthy successor to 2018’s GOW. It feels familiar and will thrill and challenge you to your core with fantastic fights, thoughtful ethos, and beautiful cinematics you’d expect from Santa Monica Studios. 2. The CE box is a must for anyone who loves this franchise. Mjiolnir, Thor’s Hammer, that comes included has fantastic detail and worth the price of admission for this box. The additional accessories are also neat collector’s items and the digital assets are nice to have for early in-game buffs. The only negative feedback I have on this is it doesn’t include a physical disc despite the inclusion of the steel display case. Not worthy of losing a star, IMO, but a big miss here. In closing, if you enjoyed 2018’s GOW, this is a must play. The story is riveting and the Norse adaption is fun and interesting to unfold.
