This game is great, and the storytelling was electrifying. Overall if you're a fan of the series, please buy!! Well worth it. $$$$$

It's God of War for PS4, but just more. This is exactly what I wanted in Ragnarok so I am completely satisfied. Both games are amazing.

Man what a game! If you liked the 2018 God of War, you’re gonna LOVE this sequel. More of the same (in a good way), but with some awesome enhancements as well.

Honestly I might receive backlash for this review but this is just my own opinion. I did not like this God of War. First the pros. The game has amazing combat and stunning visuals as it always does! Santa Monica Studios knows how to make a gorgeous game. The world felt fun and had so many enemy variants, unlike the 2018 GoW which we mostly fought giants. Now the bad.. this game has a slow pace so badly! Yes you could do the story only, but I’m a firm believer in playing side missions as it makes you feel more immersed. None of the side missions felt important, or even like it was worth the time and related in any way to the world. Atreus can be very difficult and acts like a bad kid, but in reality not all kids will behave as such. The game also had way too many puzzles and after the hundredth one, you’re like seriously another puzzle?! During my gameplay I just couldn’t shake this feeling like darn I just can’t wait to fo finish this game. Last but not least, let’s not forget how Kratos in now a complete pacifist. This isn’t GoW anymore.

Graphics are amazing. Minimal load times. Cut scenes into gameplay are seamless. Another great game in the God of War franchise.

Did you like the previous game? Then you’ll like this game. It did feel a bit tougher than the previous version, but thats about the only downside.

A continuation of the 2018 GoW game with more of the same mechanics and systems. I found the gameplay to be top notch and the story was fun. I'm knocking it down to 4 stars due to some pacing issues and some of the sections in the game are too long while others are too fast.

It's like picking up from God of War 2018 but in a bigger and more refined and better looking game. It's also surprisingly packed with things to do.

Story is engaging and the action is brutal. Looks amazing on my 4K 120hz Samsung.

Ragnarok improved on every aspect from the 1st God Of War reboot. Combat feels smoother. Enemy variety is better. Environents are more fleshed it.

Thoroughly impressed with the sequel to the amazing God of War 2018. While not even five hours into the game, I am taken back the impressive combat, visuals, audio and storytelling. The enemy variety is vast, and the areas you explore are sure to impress most. This is very much one of the definitive games you'll want to purchase as a Playstation owner. Do not hesitate. Kratos forever.

A great follow up. The single dad story doesn't always resonate with me personally, but it's a great story. It's an epic game, and visually beautiful. I've played every other GoW game, and this did a great job fulfilling my expectations. While I didn't make use of most of the accessibility features, their presence is another step forward in inclusive gaming, and I applaud that, as well.
