This is a very good sequel. The story doesn’t continue on some story points from 2018 but overall the story is great and the gameplay is smooth and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

I love the GOW series. GOW 2018 was an amazing game. This is the continuation of the story of Kratos and Atreus. Story telling is on another level and gameplay. This is why you buy a PS5

Ive played all the God of War games and its pretty cool to see Kratos evolve as a character. Ragnarok looks incredible on the PS5 and will definitely be a game of the year candidate!

What is left to say, the game is as good or better than everyone says it is. I haven’t stopped playing even after finishing the main campaign. Can’t wait for NG+ in the spring.

If you’re thinking about buying this game, do it. Playstation plus has the first game availible to play with subscription so play God of War 2018 and this game after. Anazing games

If you played the 2018 God of War I think you’ll probably know what you’re getting in to. Certainly not a bad game, but it also felt very familiar. Still had fun.

Definitely as good as the first of the new GoW. The berserkers could've been a little more challenging, similar to the valkyries in the first but still overall a great game.

Takes everything about the first game and improves upon it exponentially. There's a TON to do and it will keep you going for awhile. Don't rush it. Buckle in and enjoy the ride.

It's good. It has great graphics which really enhances the cool fighting style of the characters. On top of everything else the character development and story line is great.

enjoyed this game so much, took my time playing and may go back to get all the side quests and trophies done. the story was great, most of the fight scenes were entertaining

To start off, I love this game. Its a great continuation of the previous title, and the story is great. However, a lot of choice were made that really werent thought out well. There are multiple characters in this game that were spoken so highly of in the first game, and we can literally see theyre amazing achievements, but when we meet them in this game, theyre pathetic and unlikable. I understand what they were going for, but if you want me to believe the Norse gods are formiddable, show me that. Gameplay wise, it feels like this game wasnt playtested at all. Enemies are incredibly fast while Kratos is super slow, so youll often get caught in chains of attacks that are literally unblockable or dodgeable, then the game will chastize you for not doing that.. whether through tutorial messages or companion characters shouting at you. Most offensive example of this are the elven enemies. They can attack in rapid succession with attacks you cannot block or dodge, and theres no possible way to onterrupt their attacks. Its like the controller just stops responding at those moments. Outside of combat, many puzzles are confusing because their answer blends in to the environment so well, it just has me wondering, did anyone who didnt already know the solution test these?

Love this game, been waiting for it to release for the longest. The quality is great and overall i would certainly recommend it to anyone thinking about purchasing.

It’s an excellent continuation to the first god of war, but it’s also a great stand alone game. You don’t have to play the first one to be able to get into this one.

Bought as a gift. He hasn't stopped playing it. Grabs a dinner plate and then right back to the game. Haven't seen him this excited about a game in a long time.
