One of the greatest movies ever made period, the steelbook edition is a nice ay to preserve and store your discs. For collectors, it's a unique edition. Plus you get to watch the movie that many critics have moved ahead of Citizen Kane as the greatest American movie of all time. i'll likely get other steelbooks.

We all know that this is a great classic movie. Not only for the great acting, fantastic cinematography, and stand still scenes. Movie that anybody should have in their collection.

The Godfather tells the story of a mafia family in the mid 20th century. It has great acting, great directing, and fabulous cinematography. It won Academy Awards for Best Picture and Best Actor. It was nominated for 8 other awards.

Beautiful cinematography! The HD scan of the original 35mm negatives are just stunning. I love the colors and tone of this amazing movie. Of course, the story is just A+.

This movie was amazing, I had never watched The Godfather in my life, feeling it was one of those movies that might be "overrated." to take a shot at it when I found it on sale at Best Buy so I said "why not?" Boy had I been wrong. I loved the movie since the opening scene, the dialogue is just stupendous, and overall athe bluray quality is astounding. Great movie. Great story. Overall amazing artwork. The only downside is that there were no extras, making-of, or any of that sort

I have never seen the Godfather and have yet to watch it since I have received it but I am looking forward to watching it after hearing how good it is. The steelbook looks amazing but that is how all steelbooks look.

What more can you expect. great movie on Blu Ray just makes it better. The video is really clear and the sound crystal. If you do no town this buy it now and it is even better on sale.

I didn't watch The Godfather until I was 26, despite its sterling reputation as one of the all-time greats. Once I finally watched it, I was blown away. Cannot recommend this blu-ray highly enough.

Found myself reading the novel The Godfather and had to see the film. It's still such a great movie. I had a DVD but wanted better quality and was glad to learn my local Best Buy had a Blue Ray in stock. This is a timeless story on so many levels. It's long, so you might have to watch in stages to satisfy today's short attention span but this film is worth it.

It was like watching this classic for the first time. The picture and sound really brings it back to life on blu-ray.

This is an execellant movie. The acting is top notch, Marlon Brando at his best. The movie is a real classic and everyone should take the time to watch it
