If You Wanted To See More Godzilla, You Got It! If You Wanted To See More Monster Showdowns, You Got It! Visually Stunning, Sound FX Are Top Notch, A Huge Cast Having Fun While Also Keeping The Story Moving Forward Because Hey...Monsters Can’t Talk. (Shoulder Shrug) Otherwise It Would Be 2 Hours Of No Dialogue & Kaiju Battles & As Exciting As That Sounds Doesn’t Make For A Good Movie. King Of The Monsters Is A Popcorn Blockbuster You’d Expect & A Fun Time For All! Must See!

I think they did a great job remaking the Godzilla movie, it was very Interesting and how powerful the three headed dragon was against Godzilla, but like old times Godzilla could not be defeated, when he really gets upset his strength is amazing he is still the king of monsters like back in the days.

It doesn't make the same mistakes as the last Godzilla movie which was that it didn't show enough of the big monsters fighting. This one you definitely get a lot more monster battles, but of course there's a weak human motivated plot behind it all, no matter, a means to an end, lots of great action.

I actually enjoyed this movie even though Rotten Tomatoes gave it 41%. It borrows from some other story lines and certain things require suspending real life assumptions--like what made her think to make her machine water proof? But overall I really liked the story line. The 2 hours went by fast, which means I really got into it. I only watched the digital copy, but it functioned properly. It was easy to redeem and it showed up in my movie list within seconds.

In direct opposition to the initial outing in the franchise, King of the Monsters hearkens back to the more grandiose entries of Godzilla's (Gojira's, to be precise) Japanese lore. The movie eschews verisimilitude and instead is an absolute slam-bang joyride that isn't meant to play seriously. If you like large monsters and even larger destruction, replete with great visual effects and classic Godzilla universe Easter eggs this movie is right up your alley.

Let’s be clear: This flick isn’t going to win oscars for its story or acting. I can see why someone would not like this film. That being said, this is exactly what you’re looking for if you need an escape for two hours. The human story makes no sense at all, but that is made up for with the Kaiju battles. I came specifically to see the spectacle side of the film, and it delivers. It’s great to finally be able to enjoy this film at home with no distractions.

If you loved watching the old Godzilla movies growing up, you will love this movie. If you are expecting Citizen Kane, pass on this. The cgi monsters are the whole reason I bought this movie. The human storyline is somewhat ridiculous but isn’t it always when you have monsters/robots/etc?? I highly recommend this movie for what it is, Monsters battling monsters.

I love kaiju movies! If you don't like giant monster movies why are you reading this? If you're an old school fan like me you'll notice tons of references to the old films! The audio and video are perfect. I have a dedicated 4K player, OLED screen and SVS sub which got a great workout-right from the start! ...I don't get why this didn't do better at the box-office...

What a great film. The 4K makes these monsters come to real life and enjoyment. The graphics and sound is amazing. If you are a fan of classic Godzilla movies you’ll enjoy this greatly. There are many Easter eggs to past Godzilla and this does an excellent job connecting Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island with this film to setup Godzilla vs King Kong. Don’t miss out!

This movie was on par with the 1st. Sadly, it came to blu ray so fast I missed getting my steelbook copy. I was really surprised all copies were gone because Steelbooks dont sale out like they used to. No problem though. I don't have the 1st one in steel book so I can just enjoy this movie as good as it is on regular 4K. Godzilla is truly king of monsters!!!

The 4K video was excellent and the Dolby ATMOS soundtrack gave my speakers a workout. On Rotten Tomatoes the movie itself only received a 42% rating from the critics but the audience gave it 83%. I enjoyed it because I remember watching these movies in black and white when I was a kid.

There have been so many Godzilla movies in recent years. Each one has its pros and cons, but i feel like this one depicted a better view of all the kaijus in the Godzilla universe. If one have viewed all the original Japanese Godzilla movies, one would have a better idea and better understanding of all the things going on in this particular movie.

The 2014 Godzilla was good, just too much people not enough monster until the end (which saved the film). This has lots of both and straight off. I could have done without the overly complicated human story line, but I loved all the monsters and the throwbacks to the old movies (loved they even threw in twins-and a history of twins-for Mothra). Great action and impressive monster fights, this is what fans of the Godzilla movies want.

I loved this movie even though I'm not a die hard Godzilla fan. Its non stop action from about 10 minutes in to the very end. The movies video is amazing the vibrant colors just pop off the screen. The audio is also top notch probably best I've heard this year so far. Theres great use of atmos and the bass is just relentless. I highly recommend this one

I thought I was not going to like this rendition of Godzilla but it is a truly fun, awe-inspiring film that brings the action right home and you want to root for Godzilla! Dolby Atmos audio format is unshakably brilliant makes the room roar and the Dolby Vision HDR pops out at you with dark, contrast colours and contours you could never really imagine!

Love Godzilla movies, especially this one. more better than the 1998 monstrosity. great to see Mothra, Ghidora and Rodan in 4K glory.

While far from perfect, the film is alot of fun, and one of the best Godzilla movies we've gotten in a while. For people who just want to watch a bunch of eye candy and giant monsters battle it out, with little character development in its humans, this is the film for you. Wish the steelbook art was a little more creative; it's essentially a copy of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, but it does the job, showcasing the two main monsters well.

It was great having Godzilla fight other familiar monsters. The updated Rodan, Mothra and Ghidorah were done well. The story wasn't bad. Really good soundtrack with some parts paying homage to the original music by Akira Ifukube and the original Mothra music. A million times better than that 1998 disaster most people call GINO (Godzilla In Name Only).

This movie is awesome in 3D and I am glad that Best Buy offers the exclusive 3D version. The storyline is not typical of Gadzilla but it is effective to call all monsters out in the same movie. The special effects and actors/actresses performance are good - will watch again!

Great movie with plenty of action from start to finish. 4k picture and sound qualities are immersive making for an enjoyable experience. The steelbook is nice and with the addition of a adhesive disc hub for the 3d version makes for a great combo set. Keep'em com'in Bestbuy!!!
