One of the most anticipated monster films in the past 2 decades. This match-up between Godzilla and King Kong does not disappoint. A focus more on the creatures than the human characters ensures an action driven plot line. If you are a fan of science fiction, action, and larger than life creatures this is one for you. Graphics that set the standard for modern film.

The movie takes a leap to the fantastical when compared to the more grounded previous films. I don't think it's as good as King of the Monsters. Video wise, the Dolby vision looks great. Being mostly cgi, the image can get soft. Sound wise, not as much of a punch or dynamic as King of the Monsters. The bass while not lacking is not as deep and present as the previous films, but still good.

As a 60yo who saw King Kong vs Godzilla in theaters as a child, I couldnt wait for this. Happy to report It is EPIC!!! Also, so many steels today have such useless art, but we're treated to Godzilla vs Kong all over this steel! Whoever designed it loves these Titans. Only debossing would have made it better. Still, I love it!!

Excellent action scenes & watching this movie in 4K UHD is amazing! I thought seeing it in theaters was good, but the 4K UHD release just makes everything pop. If you’re familiar with the franchise you know you’re can expect some awesome battle scenes and Godzilla Vs Kong did not disappoint. Definitely a must watch for any fan of the franchise. Highly recommend and the artwork is great.

This 4K UHD offering is now my number one demo disc to show off my 7.2.4 Atmos home theater system. The HDR color and contrast is spectacular, especially when they all head to Korea. The spatial sound engineering is top notch, and it has massive amounts of LFE to shake your entire home. A MUST have as long as you are willing to just enjoy a knock down drag out battle of the titans for a few hours.

Fun watch…laughing at hollow earth morons is fun! It’s good that Kong & Godzilla have their own zero gravity bounce house!!!

This was my favorite movie of 2021. The 4K presentation, from an audio/ video standpoint, is absolutely amazing. This steelbook initially was very hard to find when it came out, and I was really surprised to see it back in stock at my local Best Buy. The art book on the steelbook is really good, and if you're a fan of the movie and the genre, it's definitely a must own.

Sure 3D at home is mostly dead, but for those of us that love enjoying all that is amazing about 3D in the comforts of said home, this is awesome! Love the added depth. Love the layering. Love feeling so much more 'in' the movie. Don't pass on this one for your collection!

Hello readers. This is an excellent movie. I watched the 1st one entitled "Godzilla King of Monsters" and was not happy with it but the 2nd movie, "Godzilla vs King Kong" is in my opinion very different in the effects. This movie was on sale cheaper than the solor Bluray version. This purchase included the 4K, Bluray and Digital Code. A great buy.

The arc of the Godzilla films continues. The first (2014) was about as grounded as this type of film can be. I described the second (...King of Monsters) as embracing the cheese -- that groundedness slipped right away, but it was still great fun. However, I would have withheld my cheese comment had I known what was coming. This blasts right off in many directions with a stronger sci-fi element, echoes of Burroughs, and more. Still fun, but at this rate I can only assume Godzilla in Space is next.

I streamed this movie when it came out on theaters, great CGI and well-choreographed action sequences, still I missed some of the actors/characters from "Godzilla: King Of Monsters" and feel that there's something missing in the continuity between both movies, not counting the suddenly appearance of new characters, no my favorite but still, I like it. I got the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray at the best Black Friday price and the picture/sound quality is amazing compare with streaming, makes it more enjoyable.

Look, aside from the awesome silliness of everything in this movie, I can't deny the amazingness of this 4k disc. The visuals are top tier, and the sound alone is worth every penny of the purchase here. If there is one 4k movie that should be listed in a "requirement" for showing off a home theatre, this belongs there in my book.

This movie is fun and enjoyable with some epic fight scenes between two alpha titans. I almost think you could make one of these movies that soley feature the monsters as the main characters instead of any humans. Kong is so human like i think the story could just follow him. Perhaps in a prequel that takes place on a pre human earth.

Yeah, the human element of this flick is subpar, but who’s watching this for the people? We want monster fights and Godzilla vs Kong delivers. There’s a trio of excellent, drag-out, knock-down bottles, with the last being a massive set piece in the middle of Tokyo. This last battle in particular really shows off the 4K UHD transfer in spectacular fashion, and the movie as a whole looks and sounds fantastic. Between our two monster heroes, you quite literally get tons of fun with this roaring flick.

If you go into this movie with any other expectations other than: Big ape fight big lizard, city go boom... then you'll be let down. It's not smart or well written and the human characters are still awful (just like all the other movies in the monsterverse), but it's fun. It's got great special effects and plenty of action to feast your eyes upon. No forced politics or hidden agendas, just a big dumb action film that you can simply enjoy.

This film is an over the top popcorn flick with two titans of monster movies facing off, and the 4K picture and Atmos sound push it even further over the top! The movie itself is pretty great if it’s what you’re looking for, but the real star of the show is are the visuals and the audio. Highly recommended!

Good sounds and cgi I watched 2x pictures are good

completely missed ordering this...was saddened that i would have to pay 3 or 4 times the price to get from a 3rd party dealer...but got lucky and they - best buy - got a new batch in........this steelbook is a fine addition to a movie collection and looks nice on a shelf with other stelbooks of the monsterverse

A great turn your brain off popcorn flick. Like Godzilla - King of the Monsters, they cut out a lot of the human aspect of the movie and focused heavy on the monsters. Especially Kong. The picture quality is sensational. HDR is on full blast here and the audio is top notch. Subs get a lot of work!!!

Godzilla lives........ Kong is awesome..... The movie could be better.......
