Having listened to this album since it first came out in '73 I must say the remastering of the original album sounds awesome. Excellent bonus material and good packaging. Highly recommended.

This is the ultimate celebration of all things Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Not only can you enjoy the original album, but also a movie about that time in Elton history. If you'd like to hear how other artists would do these songs there is a CD of that too. It's a great throwback to a wonderful time, and the music is as fresh as ever! .

Overall I was very pleased with the entire package. What I was not real happy with was the extra , older music that was included in the set. If you have been listening to Elton john's music as long as I have and have scoured the internet trying to find all the songs include in this set, you would have given up a long time ago.The extra songs include were on most of the re-issued cd's some time ago. There really is not anything that is new except for the cover versions, and if you like those bands, which Elton does. you wouldn't probably listen to them,. The live dvd is a great watch,

THE REMASTERED GOODBYE YELLOWBRICK ROAD ALBUM WAS AWESOME AND i FINALLY HAVE ON CD THE ELTON CONCERT AT ENGLAND'S HAMMERSMITH ODEON THAT I RECORDED OFF THE RADIO ON CASSETTE TAPE IN THE 70'S
