Easy to set up and use with any device. Stream anything from YouTube to hbo with no poblems.

This is my first chromecast and I initially didn’t know why I needed one. However after using it for a few months now...I like having the ability to watch videos on compatiable apps and cast to my tv while still having full access to my phone to text, make calls, or surf the internet. I plan on buying another exclusively for travel.

If you are a little bit tech savy, the setup is a breeze. Once I had it hooked up I can stream all the stuff you expect, but can also stream from my Synology using DS Video. Scroll movies on tablet, pick cast and select device... boom! Tablet becomes the guide and can see movie details instead of just title. Very convenient.

Great option if you're just looking to cast content to a screen from your phone or laptop without having to navigate through apps on the TV. Setup is pretty easy with the Google Home app and streaming works great assuming you have quality internet :-)

I bought this to try and stream movies to my in car screen for the kids. Previously i had used a cord to share my phone screen, but that tied my phone up and stopped me from easily charging. I plugged this in, setup was easy, and it even sits out of the way. If you're looking for a good way to stream to an in car entertainment screen, this is an excellent choice.

This google chrome cast is so easy to install and just connects to your tv. Really simple and you can quickly be able to start streaming your favorite shows and movies. At first I thought it wasn’t going to work but to my surprise it works really good. Would definitely recommend.

Chromecast may well be one of the easiest devices to "instal". Both the hardware and the protocol that powers it — makes streaming a breeze. See it on your phone and cast it over to your TV with just a single tap. And unlike Apple's AirPlay, it's cross-platform compatible, which has made my life a lot easier.

I bought this to be able to cast Disney+ and other streaming networks to my LG TV, and I am so happy with it. I bought it specifically to watch Hamilton, but my daughter loves watching other things on it also. It's awesome and I will probably purchase more in the future if needed.

I bought this chromcast while I was in New York for vacation. Hotel rooms TVs where not smart so this little guy definitely came through. I was able to stream Netflix , YouTube , Hulu, etc . Very easy to use and unnoticeable. Great to take on vacation.

If you have older tv’s with HDMI and you have a good smart then you’ll love this even more. This google chromecast is awesome for everyday use. Watch Facebook video’s, YouTube video’s, and more straight from your mobile device to your tv with one easy cast selection.

I don’t have a smart TV but was able to easily upgrade using the Google Chromecast device. The 1st Gen version will not work but this gadget was only $35 and allowed me to switch from cable to YouTube TV saving $40 month. Staff was very helpful in explaining difference between this and another model offered.

Our TV in the playroom used to have a Roku, allowing our kids to listen to music or watch shows/movies. The only problem was that I had to keep the remote out of reach if I stepped out of the room to ensure they wouldn't change to an inappropriate movie/show for their ages. With the Chromecast, your phone IS the controller. From the Google Home app, you can select what streaming service to use and can even control the TV volume. Now I don't need to worry about special parental controls (which are not always universal throughout different apps) or making sure to keep the remote out of their reach. Also, if you happen to have the Oculus Quest, the newest Chromecast is the easiest way to stream to your TV, which is great when you have friends/guests over who want to challenge one another in Beat Saber!

I finally got a chromecast and kick myself for not getting one earlier. The ease and picture quality over connecting my laptop to my tv is amazing. The picture from my iPhone is crystal clear. Best tech purchase ever at its price. Only downside is Amazon not compatible with mobile. Hulu and Netflix for the win

Great product with a lot of cool features for streaming. I give it 4 stars because it could really use a remote to quickly change volume and pause/play. If you're trying to grab a quick snack or use the restroom, it's much easier to press a button on a remote than to pull your phone out, go to the app, wait for it to sync back up, and then operate it. Definitely not deal breaker but it would help.

Works without issues. Very convenient to cast to TV. Since we stream everything instead of paying for overpriced cable then this allows us to quickly and easily cast everything to our tvs. This is the 3rd chromecast purchased for my home. I love it way more than roku!

You simply plug it in set it up in your Google home app and you're ready to go. Effortlessly stream music and videos to your TV or your receiver if it's capable it will automatically switch to the right input to allow you to view the video this product is a must if you use pictures and videos or TV apps

I got this one for $25. It's really worth it for the money. It's very convenient to watch shows via cast enabled apps, such as youtube. My smartphone becomes the remote control. It's easy to handle. Android phone is better the iphone for chromecast because one can do screen image using Android phone.

I use this device daily, and really appreciate that everything can just go through my phone. No additional devices to sign in to, passwords to fumble through trying to remember, and etc. Screen mirroring is my absolute favorite feature!

Not much to say other than it works as advertised. Simple setup, easy to use. Works with almost every streaming services (other than the competitors). I do have some trouble getting casted to a chrome cast, but that may be due to my own router. every tv in my house has one and it’s great

Works as advertised. If you want to stream from your Android phone or tablet, this product will do it for you. Forget the cables, buy this, run VLC on your phone or tablet and watch on any tv with an HDMI output.
