Have an old Visio where the new platform isn't available off tv. It is a good substitute where I can stream from phone or tablet. Never experienced any buffer time during shows that I stream. Easy first time set yup.

Love this so much. My TV is an old TV and it won't cast with this I can cast anything I want. Its an easy set up and easy to use. I really recommend this. I bought a few to put around the house and to give as gifts.

I use this product on an old flat screen which doesnt have any apps. It allows me to watch youtube, netflix and other streaming services. Also syncs great with the rest of my google smart home devices around the house. 5 out of 5 stars!!

The Google Comcast is an excellent streaming device, it does everything that it's suppose to. It's very easy to use and program it to your television. As long as you have a HDMI port you can enjoy many hours of entertainment. I recommend it to everyone.

This item was recommended to me by a friend. As it turns out it is very useful and efficient. It is easy to install and use. Setup is clearly and easily stated. Using this product is a breeze. I can now download apps and watch them on my TV. I will surely be buying this item again if needed.

Chromecast has just become integral part of the home. Streaming of videos from youtube/prime/netflix has better performances. If you own a non-smart TV with HDMI port, Chromecast supports that too but you need control the same using mobile or laptop.

Love this device. It just works. Great for increasing IQs of non-smart TV's. Works with Android or IOS devices. Got one for my mom as well (non tech savvy) and she has no problems with it. Love that you can use Google Home with it for hands free control.

Surprisingly didn't see a whole lot of reviews on this for Twitch, but I have to say it works well! The Google Chromecast works well for casting various apps to your T.V. - Twitch is no exception. However, as of the posting of this review, there is no way to see chat messages on you T.V without the help of external sites. NightDev, in my opinion, is much better than the Twitch App for casting. Using Nightdev you don't need to install an app, you just go to the site, type in the streamer's username who you want to watch, and it'll cast to your Chromecast! you can even choose whether to have the chat display on the top, bottom, left, or right of the stream. I highly recommend this product!

Mainly used this for a non smsrt tv in my bedroom and now its mostly used for a projector with no smsrt capabilities and works greatm UI is quick and not finicky. I lovebit

I'm using 10+ of these and all are working flawlessly. It's the easiest and most economical way to cast (we use HULU) to your TV. Works on all the newest TVs and I've used it successfully on some older TV's .

I was a little skeptical of buying the Chrome Cast thinking it would be difficult to link with my Apple MacBook Pro. However, upon setting up I realized that it was really easy. Now I've installed more Google home products. No problems at all!

Got this to stream my Oculus so others can watch as we take turns playing. A lot of great other features as well and I can attach this to the rest of my Google home products.

Definitely worth it for those without a smart TV. I've been using chromecast for so long and I love that I can project pretty much about everything onto my tv. I also have a smart TV but find it so much easier to use the chromecast vs the smart tv

Bought the chromecast because I needed an inexpensive way to watch HBO Max on my Roku TV. Set up was simple and casting was just as easy. The only down side is you have to have a device from which to cast to your tv.

The Google Chromecast has become a must-have in my house. Why? Because it's insanely easy to set up, is even easier to connect to, and allows for a particular favorite feature of mine: running slideshows of overhead Google Maps photos. Sounds dorky, I know, but I love looking at images from places around the world with music blaring from my record player. It's much better than your giant, beautiful TV sitting around all day as a boring, black box taking up space. These are essential for shared office space conference rooms, as they allow for individuals to easily connect to TVs without needing an outrageous amount of dongles and cables. NOTE: this is not the 4k version, so if you are looking for higher resolution, you'll need to buy the more expensive 4k version.

I see some changes from the previous versions I had several years ago, much faster. It’s a great product but if there was a remote control app to fast forward or rewind. There is a lot of room for improvement

There are many choices these days for streaming online content to your TV. I think that I have them all. This is easy to use, easy to set up and is very inexpensive for what you get. Well worth the cost!

Its a great device. Sent this to my parents back in India. Works perfectly fine. This transformed the old tv to smart tv. Can directly cast Netflix, Amazon and youtube from mobile/laptop to the TV.

A must have device for my three flat-screen this. I can stream movies, music, and much more. I have the first version of this device and let me tell you this one the fastest. A great price for the money.

Bought this so I could stream my Oculus Quest (virtual reality headset) to my TV, so I could experience it with family and friends together. Since I've gotten it, I've also been using it to stream videos and music from my desktop computer as well. It's really simple to use and takes almost no time to get up and running, which is great for how I use it. I do want to mention that the Chromecast is great for streaming from various devices or taking with you to other places but I would recommend a Roku if you are just looking for a device that stays put for streaming videos on your TV. I also have not had the Chromecast for very long, but would like to note that my Chromecast gets very hot very quickly. I don't know if that's normal or not, but it concerns me as to long-term use and durability.
