The product is amazing. It any TV with an HDMI input into a smart TV. I am able to watch all my TV streaming subscriptions on it. Price is great, and I am able to control everything from my phone. Another amazing Google device.

I had the original chromecast but after years of use it stopped working well. This newer model was very easy to set up and works perfectly. I love that it's compatible with so many apps and streaming services.

This is the third Chromecast I've bought. Each tv in the house has one now. They make streaming Hulu and Netflix a breeze. I was able to set it up myself, which means no technical expertise is needed. I love these things.

Having used a variety of other streaming devices for years effortlessly, I bought the Chromecast to be able to access my HboMAX subscription. Frankly the initial set-up was a confusing pain (hence 4 vs. 5 stars). Maybe I'm spoiled, but I'd come to expect the type of intuitive set-up featured on most competing devices. After truly not understanding how the device worked and contemplating just returning it, I reverted to a few great YouTube videos and figured it out fairly quickly thereafter. In fairness it is simple to use, but notably different in terms of how it relies on existing/separate streaming apps to "cast" content to your TV (vs. just being the interface/portal through which you access content). Once you get used to it, it's pretty cool and really works great.

This item is easy to setup and seems to perform well. It is a bit confusing sometimes as to how to sink it up with an app or program but I think some of that is due to slow data downloads in my location.

I bought this to go with a tv for the bedroom and it's very is to use. I control it with my tablet and so far everything has worked great. It works with all of the streaming services I have.

It has great picture quality, does everything I want, works great with all the apps I want it to. Able to mirror my entire phone, tablet or laptop screen if I want. Works awesome when paired with Google home for voice activated streaming

This is incredibly easy to set up. We couldn't log out of my boyfriend's amazon prime account on Xfinity, so I picked this up to stream rentals and purchases from my own amazon prime account. Streams without issues.

Couldn't be simpler to use, and allows me to stream to my non-smart tvs. Perfect for travelling, so I can watch my cable from home on my laptop and stream it to the TV wherever I go.

Pretty easy setup and consistent performance. So easy to use as well. We have an older one from ~2014, loved it but started to drop in and out as of late, so we decided to pick up a newer model. Happy with the results and price!

The chromecast gave my non smart tv in the livingroom more life since we use it more now to watch Netflix or Hulu or anything that it will allow us to. However I don’t like that it hooks up to the tv, but still need to connect it to a wall outlet, bit annoying to me other than that a good product worth buying.

Very easy to install. Works for any TV that has a HDMI conector. You can watch Netflix, YouTube, and almost every Streaming TV channel. You can also send to your TV anything from your cell phone display. Easy, great, ... the best !!

The chromcast works great for anyone wanting to stream from their devices to our tv without having to set up their passswords. It streams great have not had any issues with this device at all and have used for several months now.

I bought these Chromecasts because I needed one for our second home and the price was great. Installed the device on my Sharp TV and it was easy to pair and cast from my phone or Chromebook. I really didn't need a 4K device.

Been wanting to watch anime on the home screen but sadly having only a Samsung TV and using their in-service apps (which are great) they don't have a Crunchyroll, Funimation, or Twitch app (not anime but also another reason why I wanted to get the Chromecast). Having used the first generation Chromecast I knew how reliable this little piece of tech is and not hurt the wallet. In addition to the things I've mentioned above, you can stream YouTube, Netflix, Spotify, and almost all of the other streaming services if needed. However, I should mention that I did not get the 4K version of the Chromecast because anime is not made in 4K (only upscaled) but I also don't know if Samsung in-service apps output 4K.

Super simple to use plug it into my system right away was able to stream stuff from my phone really the easiest solution I found. I think you can get them as cheap is $25 not a bad value.

The Chromecast are my favorite streaming devices. I have had far better luck with these than fire sticks or roku. I prefer running things through phone rather than having an additional remote.

One of the best purchases we've made in some time. Inexpensive and a snap to install. Set up was fast and easy. The streaming quality is amazing....we cast EVERYTHING now...from our phone or ipads... Peter

This latest gen chromecast seems a little quicker in loading compared to my other 3 chromecasts I currently own throughout our home. simple setup as usual and works great and takes up minimal space.

Bought this to replace fire stick which we lost remote for and could never find (kids). Love the no remote feature and that we can stream direct from our phones. So easy to set up. Loving it so far!
