These days, we all wish Google would improve the vast majority of their products Thankfully, the 3rd generation of the chromecast has way better connectivity than the last. Compared to the 2nd generation, this latest model keeps it word when it comes to an easy set up. My only two complaints that I with chromecast had the capabilities to do would be connecting to audio via bluetooth and a better picture to display. Quality vs an Apple TV (4th/5th gen) for example, is noticeable from a standpoint. All in all, if you're looking for something affordable to cast videos, music, and pictures to, then this is the device that is enjoyed but everyone, and great for each tv in your home.

I have purchased many chromecasts, they are great if you dont have a smart tv. Super easy to use and great price.

Works great and easy to set up I have been using chrome cast for a long time I had my old Chromecast stick for 5 years and worked excellent so I upgraded to the newer one and it worked just perfect.

I love the ease of setting up any show/song I want. Very compatible with our google home mini. My husband and I have different types of phones and both work seamlessly with the google chrome cast.

I bought a chromebook and this chromecast for my elderly parents. They are NOT tech-savvy. I helped them set it up and gave them simple written instructions. They mostly use it to cast youtube videos from their chromebook. They watch travelogs for the most part. You can use chromecast from most any hdtv and cast from most any computer. We use ours to watch NFL games from NFL gamepass. Others may want to cut the cord and save $$$ on cable tv. We have a basic tv package and internet. We have saved a ton of money over the years this way.

Never used one of these before or any of it's competitors. Was really happy with how easy it was to set up and how many different options for streaming stuff to my TV it could do. Very Impressed with!

Super easy to cast phone videos to TV, and it's connected with google home, you can just speak and watch the movie you want on TV. Price is great too, nice job Google.

Set up was easy overall but you need to download an app. Works well overall and performs as advertised but will sometimes disconnect from my device while playing

This was a replacement for the 1st generation chromecast I had and I had no issues setting this one up. Previously, I had issues with the old one staying connected and so far I have no complaints.

This is my first attempt at streaming to my TV. This product was fairly easy to set up and worked well. The picture and audio were failly clear. One also needs to be aware that wifi speed is a factor and sometimes the picture was not as great and the sound was out of sync.

This latest model seems to be a lot faster than the older model, I have not experienced a lost connection or an error for the past month and I would get some all the time with the previous model.

I just love the Google cast. It was very easy to set up. I can now watch my favorite shows on my TV. This help my eyesight as well. Cast an excellent picture on my TV. The cost is very good.

I think the interface and experience on this is way better than other casting devices. It’s easier to use with mobile devices and the response is real fast.

Easy connection and set up. Basically turns any tv into a smart tv and your phone is your control. Just need wifi and you are set! Very inexpensive! Second one I own

Great picture and easy to setup. Only problem is that it is finicky with the wireless network connect. If your setup isolates wireless clients you wont be able to stream from your phone properly.

so simple to set up and use. never an issue. great inexpensive investment to watch the phone and Chromebook on an inexpensive tv that requires no monthly fee

I have 5 Chromecast devices. Quick and easy to set up. Super easy to use. Any issues casting are solved / resolved very quickly. Put one on every TV you have.

this is super easy to manually install (plugs right into an HDMI port). The software routine for installation is a little confusing, but after a couple of tries, it worked. Once installed, this device works great, and streaming is really easy.

My only knowledge of being able to watch Netflix (along with other streaming services) on my TV was either through my PS4 (no subscription), a Smart TV (too expensive), or connecting my laptop (done it before). I considered getting a smart tv or 4K UHD TV, but I had no real need since my HD TV was still working just fine. Then I discovered this neat little gadget that basically did everything I wanted. Streaming from my phone and projecting to my TV. Why didn't i know about such device sooner!

I have a Roku but I was not able to watch HBO Max. I was looking for a cheap solution and found google chrome. It’s really fast, user friendly and easy to use.
