Tha casting is fun and easy. One of the best ways to make a normal tv a smart one. If pair up with a mini home Google, you can steam just by talking. Awesome product!!!

The work great for casting from any device and the price is cheap compared to getting and apple TV. I also use it at work to cast from laptop.

Small and discret and works like a charm. Love that i can be cooking and call out goole pause tv and it does so I don't miss a scene.

This is the third chromecast I have purchased. I used them initially within my personal home, so that I could play videos/tv/music over the tv in my rec room, but quickly started implementing them in the AirBNB's I operate. Since so many people already have their own streaming accounts, this allows guests to play all their own content seamlessly without having to worry about logging in/out of their accounts.

It is a good product, but I prefer something that is always available for use versus having to use my phone or device to make it work. Right now, I have to install the apps on my personal device to “cast” to the tv. So, it becomes a bit annoying. I am sure it will serve up more positives maybe once I get used to it, but initially, I prefer a remote and a device that stores the app, and isn’t be casted from my devices like my phone. It I have a closed network, people can’t use the device- I think. Kind of dumb. I want it to work for all with having to cast from my device. This way, it’s available to guests/everyone who has the remote in their hand. I would recommend it to another person, but I would ask them what their goal was for picking it first and foremost. It’s a preference thing, I guess.

I needed a few chromecast to complete my smart home, picked them up at bestbuy for a steal. Easy to setup and cast to, works awesome when paired with a google home.

Works great...once setup is complete, but you have to have a wifi internet connection available to do the setup. Bought this in a pinch when our internet connection was down so I planned to cast a Zoom video meeting from my cell phone to a nice large monitor. Sorry...Chromecast device has to have a wifi connection to the internet to complete initial setup. No wifi hotspot option with my cell plan so could not set up Chromecast device until our internet was restored (just in time for the Zoom call so all was well). Kept the Chromecast device because it is nice for tossing small screens to large ones for easier viewing or sharing pix from phone while maintaining proper social distancing.

Great for garage television. Can stream all sights and no buffing issues or digital glitches. Easy to install and worth the money.

VERY easy to set up! literally, plug and play! Small - can be placed so it is unseen. No complaints- if only wifi was this way!
