I bought this product because I wanted my TV to be able to cast videos and music via voice command with my google home. It certainly does that well. You can also cast from your phone via the cast button on certain apps such as youtube, hbo now, netflix, hulu etc. I know there are a lot of smart TV's and other streaming products (roku, amazon fire stick etc) but this product was affordable and I'm in the google ecosystem, using google home as my primary smart product to control my devices. overall, it's a simple and nice product to have.

excellent device in a great price, chromecast is so good and easy to use, now I can send all my video to my television set from my phone and get a great picture.

Great for streaming (Netflix, YouTube, Disney+) to any TV with an HDMI port. Simple to setup in a few minutes. WiFi is required.

I bought this because I wanted HBO Max on my LG TV. Based on the size and year of my LG TV (75 inch LG from 2018) I could not download the app directly to the TV. Roku and Amazon Fire stick had not made a deal to support the app. So I did some research and found the Chromecast was the ideal replacement. I was a little difficult at first to set up but it has been an amazing product to use. Everything is controlled from my mobile phone or tablet instead of a remote. I can't ask for a better product and the price was perfect.

My parents hated using their bluray player with its sluggish interface for their streaming. I bought this for them. They are ecstatic and love how easy it is to use. They cuddle up next to each other, select something from their iPad to watch, and with 2 screen taps, it shows up on their TV. They firmly believe that witchcraft is involved. If you plan on getting this for your parents, make sure you help them set it up before you leave. They need us tech-savvy nerds to help with that.

My friend recommended that I buy one. I absolutely love it! Instructions are very simple to setup. Being able to cast from different rooms is pretty cool.

This product is easy to install and easy to use. It is also compatible to most if not all of the apps that i use to cast.

Chromecast works really well to cast all my Android and Chromebook needs. Easy to set up and get connected.

I use this to stream my Oculus Quest to the TV when friends are over, it works great and once you set it up once, it's essentially one-tap streaming inside the Oculus. Very simple. As for the streaming itself for videos and the such, well it isn't the 4K variant, but other than that, it works like a charm. I also had the first model of Chromecast as well. Very similar. The inital setups on any of these guys can always be a little tricky but once you do it once youre set!

We use this to streamline Netflix on our older TV. Works great! Easy install and very small so not noticeable behind the TV

This is the second one we've gotten so far and it's amazing. It's very easy to install and set up. You can cast from and phone or tablet.

Excellent product, easy to set up, the Google Assistant enables powerful home automation and launching the video using the cell is faster than I imagined.

It works it casts. Doesn't cast me in a blockbuster movie though when it's my turn to be on the white screen
