It's easy to cast youtube and video chats. Sometimes it cuts off which is annoying but I would recommend this product.

Good to have no matter what

However, I have 2 LG TVs and LG still doesn't have the HBO Max app. They do have AirPlay, but that can sometimes act up too much. Having a chromecast is so much easier to cast quick to my TVs and not have to deal with the phone and the TV having a fit over who wants to act up more. I've had chromecasts since they first came out and will continue to always have them regardless of how advanced TVs get.

Great Chromecast!

Our cord cutting scissors

The setup is a breeze and it works perfectly with our choice of streaming TV service. Am going add an Ultra to our 4K TV. The audio codec translation is far superior to what the built-in “smart” tv software can produce. The video quality @ 1080p is excellent. No issues...

Overall decent, but lacking.

Overall, the Chromecast works good. Haven't had any problems casting video. Where the Chromecast is lacking (I hear a newer version, expected to come out, remedies this.) There is no onscreen menu, no 'remote' you have to find what you want to watch, on your phone, and send it to the tv. For the most part, this isn't a problem, but with many streaming live content, with a 'tv guide' style layout, an onscreen menu would be much easier.
