Overall, the Chromecast works good. Haven't had any problems casting video. Where the Chromecast is lacking (I hear a newer version, expected to come out, remedies this.) There is no onscreen menu, no 'remote' you have to find what you want to watch, on your phone, and send it to the tv. For the most part, this isn't a problem, but with many streaming live content, with a 'tv guide' style layout, an onscreen menu would be much easier.

Making my regular tv smarter

Easy to set up and ready in minutes. Now it is like having a smart TV without breaking my wallet!

Excellent way to stream free video. I bought this to do online workouts on my TV. I will use this for much more.

Everyone needs a chrome cast !

Without letting that stop me from catching up on my latest shows I ran to Best Buy that same day to purchase the latest model. I was pleased with how helpful the customer was at Best Buy. Setting up the chromecast was quick and easy. Without missing a beat I am back to casting my favorite shows to my tv and enjoying my quarantine time in peace. Thanks Best Buy !

Great solution if you need to cast from a device

My Sony TV has Chromecast as a feature and I can stream from a device to this TV with no problem. I could not get this device to work that well with a Samsung TV. My feeling is the issue is more with the Samsung TV than the Chromecast device. This device would be great if you look to cast pictures or a presentation from a phone, tablet, or computer to a TV monitor or screen. However, if you need a streaming solution to watch TV, I would opt for Roku after trying Chromecast, Firestick, and Roku.
