I do not have space in my room for a TV but I do have a desk with a fairly large monitor. I was able to hook this in to the monitor's HDMI port and power it through the monitors USB port (although, you can use the included power adapter). Now I can switch between my computer and my Chromecast. I love that I can turn any regular tv or monitor into a smart device! It's extremely practical. I just wish it output higher than 1080p without having to pay double for the Ultra version.

Setup is super easy. Works easily with any smartphone. A great device to have around the house for the family. Awesome purchase!

Great addition to the patio TV. Once set up on the Google App, the device is available on any device that has Chromecast, laptop, phone, tablet, etc. If you don't have the Google Home app, make sure to download it first and follow the prompts to search and add the device. Form then on you can watch Youtube, PeacockTV, Netflix, etc. on that TV. If you are an Android user, highly recommended.

I wanted to share my computer screen on my television for work. This is the cheapest option available to do that. It's easy to install and easy to use. It works pretty well most of the time.

Bought it because my original chromcast had issues. It is cheap enough and excellent for not developing a vulture neck when you want to watch something off of your smartphone and cast it onto your tv. Ever see these people with their craned necks watching things off their smartphone? Ever see these new generation of adults who look like hunchbacked primates? Well all of them have terrible posture. Buy a chromcast and look less Neanderthalish when you’re home

Using on older Vizio non smart TV. Works well to be able to stream youtube videos to the TV. Just plug it into HDMI port, plug in power and after some simple setup, start streaming to TV.

Picture quality is very good. Connecting is easy. I have never had a problem with my Chromecast. Bought one for each of my TV's.

Chromecast is very good overall for casting videos and playing music. Only catch is I couldn't connect that to my Google home device and use that as its audio out. Rest all features are awesome.

I own one of these for each TV. Much cheaper than AppleTV and easy to use with my phone as the remote.
